Haha, really cool! I won't be using them myself (I found a retexture here that I have as a replacer) but I gotta love you took matters into your own hands with these ugly rag things. Nicely done
Thank you . I'm a huge fan of your work btw. Seaside seagulls and Cake O'Clock bakery are just some of your mods baked into my load order. The modders resource you linked to looks nice. I might take a look at it for the next mod I'm working on. Thanks again.
I was wondering about these rags, myself. They were awful and I would just check every place in my house to find those rags and try to disappear with them with either " Disable" or "MarkForDelete", but they would always remain.
Mfg Console mode usually shows the name of the stuff and the mod it comes from, but it never showed anything about the rags. I thought Bethesda had cursed me to forever see the awful things!
But now you gave me a reason to keep them around!
Thanks a lot!
I was going to ask you to make a white version (dark white, not stark white), but you already made a great job! I will try to make it white myself.
Is it possible to make the Dark White rags even more darker. I'd like to add that these rags look too fine, they look too much like fine cloth. Maybe the designs can stand out a bit more. I use a lot of HD quality textures but I think in this case 1K texture is plenty. I have 6GB VRAM and use ENB, 4K here is definitely overkill. Hope this is constructive to your effort.
Try the dirty grey version. And unused vram is wasted vram, particularly if you have 6 gigs of it . Besides, if I hadn't made 4k versions, I'd probably be getting flamed in the comments right after release. I use the 2k version on my laptop and there is no performance impact at all. I actually wanted them to look fine. I didn't want dirty old rags everywhere around my dragonborn's house. The savior of skyrim should at least have a few clean towels instead of dirty rags. At least, that's my opinion. Thank you for your comment.
It was nothing If you want it even darker, just open it with photoshop and reduce the lightness from image, adjustments, hue/saturation. You can also decrease the brightness and increase the contrast from image, adjustments, brightness/contrast. The increase in contrast will help keep the fine strands visible while you decrease the brightness.
Hey hey. I am in the process of reviewing the HD rags :p.. and the blue one doesnt seem to work for me. All the other colors worked but not the blue. I tried 4k and 2k version lol. The blue is just grey for me. Doesnt matter if I overwrite or uninstall the other rags, it still remains grey when I try out the blue. But its okay I guess XD.. since I got most of the other ones working.
Hey. I'll upload a bluer version later. Maybe your ENB setting makes it grey? Have you tried opening the dds file and checking if it's blue? Thank you so much for taking the time to review this mod. I'm just not feeling well today. I'll upload a new version tomorrow.
Thanks Ren. The red one was my little sister's idea. I thought since I was making a retexture anyway, why not? I really like the dirty grey too. It looks great with any ENB setup and with vanilla skyrim.

Once again, thanks a lot!

Sorry for taking too long to return!
I tried to make my white version, but I might have been doing something wrong because it was always too bright!
Your version is much better! Thank you a lot!
I'll see if the new updated rags are blue and see if the dss are blue.
Thank you!
