The description said story. Is there a journal or book inside? I didn't see anything, but I can be staring right at something and not see it. :-)

For your first mod, I thought it looked good. I didn't have any issues at all that I know of. The only thing I'd add, if you didn't, is a journal or book with the family's tragic story.

      Thank you for the compliment,

As for the story, i wanted the enviroment to tell the story all on it's own,
i will add a Journal to emphasize it a bit. Good advice!

TBH, the journal thing is overblown in ES games. Ppl magically have the ability to write entire novellas while bleeding out. Don't bring a sword or mace to fight off those critters, but make darn certain you have pen and paper with you as you travel, for when they get you!

I, for one, applaud at least the idea of an environment-clue based tale.

I'm very happy that someone finally said this.  Finally!  It needed to be said -- in writing.  Truly, this entire premise of finding information in notes is just patently ridiculous.  Even Bethesda made fun of themselves in this regard on at least one occasion that I know of.  I of course refer to the note you find on Solstheim, in that tower, Bloodskal Barrow.  The note starts simply enough, but then begins to describe a rock fall or something, then the script ends with just a squiggly line dropping off the page, presumably because the writer was killed during said rock fall.  So, yeah, even Bethesda recognized the ludicrousness of this game mechanic.  But when modders fail to learn the lesson and then just go all out, overboard, with their found-notes, it most definitively ruins their mods and the game.  They really must learn the lesson.  Fortunately, the author of this mod did indeed learn this lesson and refrained from utilizing this ridiculous method of information exposition.
