I found this randomly, just moments ago. At first, I didn't think much of it but read the description anyway. Then, I read the article in the link.
My father and I never could see eye to eye most times. There were even times when it was hard to tell if he loved me more than he hated my mother, whom he had divorced when I was young. But, despite this, we always had *something* in common; Games. He was the one who bought me my first game system, as well as introduced me to PC gaming. He always had a love of military games, whereas I swiftly fell love with the world of fantasy. Despite our differences, we were always able talk about our video games for hours on end, one of the few things we could really bond over. That, or lighthouses and British comedy.
I lost my father a few years ago, but it feels like yesterday. I am not a modder. I will never be able to make a replica of my father that would do him justice. But this is sweet, and somehow makes me think of my own father, who had his own gaming space. I'm downloading it now.
Hey As a Old Gaming Father... I'm sorry for your loss. Both my adult kids are gamers, they both even love Skyrim, though not as much as I do. (which is probably good) my granddaughter is starting to show an interest...
There isn't anything quite like being able to talk to your kid like another adult about a shared interest. The knowledge that you helped in whatever way to make another REAL PERSON. That no matter what mistakes you made they want to interact with you. Too many of the parents I've known over the years do not have this, and I feel horrible for both sides and what they have missed.
What I'm saying is that, in my opinion, you don't have any need to create a mod in tribute.
I like the idea behind this Mod, I have always hoped to make some tribute to the Great Skyrim's Modders (MannyGT, Mihail, Elianora, schlangster, Arthmoor, Vicn, anthelius, Mike Hancho, Foxfingers, NexusModsCaretaker, HaemProjects, Oblivionlaserie, wallice, etc, etc, etc) in some New and Big Land including there his best creations, hopefully some day it happens
hey, i wasn't able to reach you through PM, i've used a bunch of your stuff for my play throughs and was wondering if you were able/willing to help create a follower with me, from what i've seen you know how to make followers, detailed followers in the ck, if you knew how to add custom dialogue i've been writing some lines for a follower and his appearance is already complete but i'd be open to suggestions, i do nothing with my life so i have all the time in the world to record and think of new dialogue, i'm not very skilled in ck i can make basic followers but that's literally all. anyways, if you're interested lemme know, i'm on the nexus, have a good one & hope to hear from ya!
