like your retex way more, but the shine on that one makes it look just like one of those really slick lookin snakes like a coral snake ect. i don't suppose i could make this texture a lil shinier w/ say gimp or paint.net? any novice tweaks i could try? thanks
Sure, the main thing would be increasing (or decreasing? don't remember) the alpha channel of the normal map. Easy in gimp if you have the DDS plugin. Maybe I'll make it a bit shinier in a future version.
Thanks. Darker version looks more menacing in my opinion. I am too busy modding myself to play, but will download to try out and endorse. I just figured that some people would agree with my tastes. More variety, more endorsements for you, as I have learned.

Except that other serpentine dragon retexture, that one looked like it came from google images. Eugh.
