    So I installed this today, and I have to say that it DOES work, but I have seemed to come across a problem.

    Whenever I boot up the game, there's this line in the middle screen that is a darker, see-through-like glitch of the enb effect. What's worse is that whenever I look up, it goes to the bottom of the screen, but when I look down, it takes up the entire screen. I'm pretty sure this is a glitch due to my inexperience with using enb files, and I would like to ask on how to fix it.

    This ENB goes to top 5 of my list if not the best. Works well with RLO. Some people might find interiors are too dark which is a good thing for me. Because I don't know how you did it but you made interiors dark but without lowering brightness like some other enbs did. So light sources are more effective with this ENB. Also tried this with ENB v236(for performance reasons) no problem so far. Thanks for sharing this and keep up the good work!

    The 2.0 preset is great, but I do use the ELFX enhancer to reduce the vanilla interiors brightness, so I should crank up the interior darkness in the enb settings, but somehow the interior ambient settings dont seen to work. What enb version do you use, 308?

    Edit: Looks like ELE lite fixes the issue with interiors too dark.
    Will run Mzinchaleft with this enb, Dynamic Immersive Seriously Dark Dungeons and torch craft. Hope it's not too much darkness for the torches and lanterns.

    Man, 2.0 (+) = great. I'm so happy with this preset. Waited a few days to see how it went before posting this and have nothing but praise for the rework. It really makes the world feel real to me, but has just enough fantasy flavor to feel like a game still. I almost want to say "soft". But things look tangible in a way that other presets have not achieved for me.

    Your treatment of the water color, and light reflections on it, is some of the best I've seen. Having just been to Alaska in the past year, the color of the lake and river water there is almost turquoise sometimes, and your ENB really captures the look of this quite well in the right lighting. Nice sparkleys too

    One thing for me is, and I do use several lighting mods (no weather tho, and I'm not asking for a troubleshoot session, don't fret), the cast light from torches and braziers etc is very red at night. I mean RED. Curious as to which settings I can tweak to change it a bit more orange. Can't seem to locate those. Your pics look fine so I know it's something on my end I need to work around, but if you need a pic just ask.

    Anyway, anyone thinking about trying this preset, DO SO. Coming from an ENB junkie, this is definitely top 5 of the 30 or so I've got. Maybe top 3 because it performs so well on my 2 GB, GTX 760 with a skillion mods. Avg 40 fps outdoors (towns ~30), Indoors its 60 almost always. I do have Ambient Occlusion off tho. That helps.

    Thanks for sharing your work. You get my vote this month for sure.

      This could be from ELFX if you use that? I know certain lighting mods change the torch, brazier, and sconce lighting color parameters. To alter them in the ENB, find [ENVIRONMENT], and look for the PointLighting settings. You can either lower the lighting curve or increase the desaturation to your liking.

      One thing you can try for a bit more performance is disabling the Subsurface Scattering (on top of the already disabled SSAO), as that eats a few frames sometimes, and it's something you can easily live without.

      Anyway, I hope that helps. Thanks for all your kind words as well! I'm glad you like the preset.

    So uh... don't use this with Darker Dungeons for ENB. All I see during the Alt Start is half of Dibela's face. With brightness turned all the way up. All in all though, holy crap it looks awesome.

    Hello! This is a very nice preset. Performance is great and it has that lean towards realism that I prefer. I've been stuck on Skyrealism ENB Evolved (realistic option, it's old as sin but still awesome) forever and I may just make the switch. Running avg 40 fps outside on a heavily modded game on an above average system. Swell job here. I have a couple questions and a request, if I may.

    Q. The sun is a giant white glare. It's a bit much for me so am wondering if it can be adjusted be smaller somehow? Or maybe a conflict with COT v5? I played with some GUI settings and didn't see any difference.

    Q. Is it possible to edit the bloom, effectsprepass etc in the in game GUI like you can with the effects? (in the shader window)

    Q or Request. I miss the sun rays through the branches. Skyrealism did those very well and is one of my favorite features in ENB's. I tried enabling them in the GUI and turning them waaaay up to no avail. Any way to activate them? If not would you be able to make an optional file for people who may want to?

    If there is a good guide anyone can recommend so I can try to make these things happen, I am happy to try this stuff myself.
    Anyway thanks for sharing your work. It's top notch.

    P.S. I am running this preset on v.279. Should I use a newer one?

      Sorry I'm so late in replying!

      A. Yeah, the sun was completely messed up and I hadn't realized. It's much better now. As for COT, I'm not sure. I don't use COT and this ENB was made for the vanilla weathers.

      A. If you can see it in the GUI, you can edit it. (except for the greyed out options, which are few)

      A. I added minimal sun rays. I don't like them being over the top, but if you want a more noticeable effect, feel free to edit it yourself with the GUI.

      And yes, you should always use the latest ENB binaries. I've updated Elder Souls to use the latest, v0.305, so I would recommend you update as well.

      Yes I've learned a thing or three about ENB since the post and I've made this my ideal. Thanks for sharing! With v1.5 tho I seem to have lost the ability to activate the Sweetfx.dll, which I prefer. Tried renaming it to be the main, and nothing changed. Also the main screen logo is almost blacked out, but everything looks ok in game, so I really don't care about that.

      And the sun is MUCH better! I use Isoku's sun glare replacement and it's perfect! Increased the rays to about 2x and am loving it. Thanks again!!

      Any ideas on the dll issue?

      Ps. I name drop the hell out of your preset on Reddit r/skyrimmods

      Edit: The Sweetfx works. User error on the install I suppose. Reinstall "fixed" it.

      I've had some issues with Sweetfx.dll not working occasionally after I upgraded to Windows 10. Sometimes it just wigs out, it's pretty strange. Like you said though, reinstalling "fixes" it, so I really have no insight to offer.

      And thanks for the name drops

    Hey,
    I just installed it late yesterday, but from what I could see, it's very cool!
    I had just tried to recalibrate my monitor too, so it might have some influence on my opinion:
    Overall, the appearance is very good, it's pretty much what I was looking for, like aglorius posted before, I've been using Skyrealism for a long time.
    Only issues I have (and maybe my monitor callibration is at fault) are:
    nights are too dark (specially compared to vanilla), your screenshots look have the same dark nights, so I guess it's supposed to be that way. I know it's supposed to be like this, but then you cant play at night without a light or torch. I might have to mod some more torchs into the leveled lists or maybe belt lanterns.
    The UI seens a bit too brigth, maybe it's caused by the color correction settings? not sure if it can be fixed somehow short of changing the color correction settings.

      Mess about with these values in enbseries.ini (or the in-game menu) until you're happy with the result:

      [COLORCORRECTION]
      UsePaletteTexture=false
      Brightness=4.0
      GammaCurve=1.9
      UseProceduralCorrection=false
