A catalogue of exact changes that were made to the original assets:
1. Merger of alduin_g.dds taken from both More Dramatic Alduin and Imprefvictious Alduin.
Repainting in Adobe Photoshop CS6, in order to:
- Eliminate superfluous elements
- Enhance the cracks between Alduin's plates
- Add cracking effects to his horns and the club of the tail
- Add fading and hierarchy of importance, so that only areas of emphasis will trigger a lens effect
- Enhance the glow of the eyes
- Added glow to teeth
- Further tidying up and alterations
2. Editing of alduin.dds taken from More Dramatic Alduin:
- Enhanced contrast
- Reduced noise, then reapplied noise
- Fixed saturation, eliminating color banding
- Painted elements to reflect the new glowmap and minimize discolored artifacts
- Gradient effect on the membranes of the wing
- Subtle scale texture on the wings
- Glitter!
3. Color edits made to alduineyes.dds, taken from More Dramatic Alduin.
4. Creation of new file, alduineyes_g.dds. Perhaps superfluous, but it seemed to make a difference.
5. Packaged all texture files together, along with the meshes and normal map from Imprefvicticious Alduin.
