Great idea for a mod, thanks. But you're killing some of the work that the USKP team did by not carrying forward all of their fixes. Example:
Also, some of the replicated weapons don't benefit from the usual upgrading perks that double the improvement (because they lack the required weapon material keyword), which makes this mod entirely useless as it is.
I like the idea, but I use crafting overhauls and/or PerMa (vary with play-through and mood), so it'd be incompatible. Though as an idea, you could use a spell, as spells can open up specialized crafting menus. See Lustmord armor for an example. Huh, and I just discovered that's also the name of a Scandinavian band. Anyway, the mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25852/?
Also, do you have copies of the meshes in your mod, or do you reference what ever the game is already using? I would recommend the latter not only for smaller mod size, but to make it so that if some one has an appearance change/enhancement mod, using your mod uses that modified appearance. (You probably already do that, I just wanted to be sure )
Thanks yeah it shouldnt be too incompatible I've tested it with a few crafting overhauls and seems to work for the most part but yeah I have run into some issues like recipe not showing up ect. Although I the idea for a spell could be used as a work around for these problems so I'll definitely look into that thanks.
And yeah it just references the existing meshes in the game no new ones are added, although the ablility to wear the dress (in the photos) means I've had to copy the existing mesh from the game then re add it in but thats just a little fun bit on the side mod size is still pretty small
Sweet concept! Hopefully it plays nice with Complete Crafting Overhaul, and maybe even show up in Honed Metal? Any tips for compatibility, like using a Bashed Patch or Merged Patch?
Enjoying the mod! Gives options on customizing weapons through crafting and enchantment and in customizing it based on your enchanting preferences! Now I have a blade of woe looking dagger with enchantments I chose to give it!
Thanks a bunch!
BTW, here are the list of unique weapons that you might be interested in as most unique weapons have "unique" models but have less than desirable enchantments/effects:
love the idea but i was wondering, would it be possible to make it an ability that can be bought from a merchant? then there's less need for compatibility patches
Possibly, one way I was thinking is that if you have schematics for a weapon (could be purchased or found) the perk wouldn't be required to build it otherwise you need the perk?

And thanks for the list! I'll check through and add in any I've missed
