This is a small and simple guide that shows you how to create your own custom banners without any graphical skills.

This tutorial guides you through the process of creating custom banners for your mod. The best thing about it is, that you don't need to be artistically gifted to make this.
You need the following tools:
Instructions can be found in download section.
If you want your banners to have more realistic lighting you should also give Real Double Sided Animated Banner Models a try. The mod will replace the nif used for the vanilla banners with a shadow casting one. As the tutorial uses texture sets, this will apply on every banner created with this tutorial.
