Alright, I found one small insiginificant bug, just keep papyrus logging off and you'll be ok. Please comment on this post with any bugs, or features you'd like to see or be made configurable like how effective wearing heavy armor vs light armor is for calculations, etc.
Every single f*#@ing time I fought a dragon the dragon's fire breath knocked my sword and shield out of my hands, causing me to scramble to find my gear on the ground while my health was dropping faster than a piano strapped to an anvil. 1/10 would not download again.
There is a reason knights carried a polearm, a sword, and a dagger or two, all at once! I imagine Murphy's law comes into play even more against dragons.
Disarmed weapons like bows make the attackdamagemult to randomize and mess the damage stats every time u get dissarmed the bug triggers, had to unistall due to this. anyway good mod!
Disarmed items occasionally become unowned by the player - ie they must be "stolen" to pickup. Wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this.
Also, Is there a "grip" modifier to weapons and shields vs the drop rate? I feel a two handed weapon should drop less often than a one handed. Is there a way for modders to introduce a modifer to their own weapons?
since is the only working and good mod so far for locational damage, you should give the head a higher priority, so you can add compatibility to archery, maybe give the head a new math or find a work around, so you can support longer ranges as well...
Beside of that, i dislike that it's already packed with the result of the hit, it would be beautiful, if it will act more like a framework, where i can hook into with my own plugin, that would be superb!!
very smart implementation and consistent effects. However the chances of some of the effects might be too high. i have some deadly combat mods on and play on legendary. Every hit on my arm disarms me and every shot with an arrow to the head causes stagger. This not only breaks the game but ruins immersion.
It would be great of the effect of location damage was much simpler. Headshot for extra damage. Arms and torso for bleed effect and lower stamina regen and legs for movement speed. No staggers, no knockbacks or disarms that might interact in crazy ways with other mods and various difficulty settings.
1. Not a big deal at all but if I could have the option to disallow SLDS from managing my stamina regen settings that would be nice because it's fighting with SkyTweak atm and whilst it's a small nuisance it would be cool to have that option there.
2. This is also minor and I'm not sure how possible this is but maybe add a chance slider for the insta kill option and even better, add an option to disable on massive targets and maybe undead. It doesn't matter too much because I quite like the feature as is and I can just not abuse it but this could help with accidentally one-shotting a giant or mammoth. (haven't tried it on dragons yet lol)
