Not sure if requiem can be played without this. Mobs without a model used to be a bug..

is this mod makes them weaker apart from that making them slow etc.. ( talking about damage and armor piercing) .

This mod doesn't change their raw damage output at all. It does give them armor piercing, so the effective damage output would be increased.

Having tried your first version fighting them at Mehrunes Shrine or rather outside (no way in hell to fight 3 of them in tight space) I found them rather challenging and some cheese was definitely required. I was a lvl 23 dark elf nightblade sorta character mainly destruction and onehanded, but there was no way I was ending them with only apprentice spell fiery arrow. I managed to lure 2 of them outside then camp at the rocks beside the door where they couldn't reach me. Only managed to kill those 2 using the dark elf racial combined with one word of slow time and slash them with the razor and still was nip and tuck with the last one since they kinda 2 shot me (had some rigidity goin so didn't get one shot)
For the last entity I lured out I figured out that using a flame atronach scroll was very efficient since the entity kinda engaged in a boxing match with her and the atronach being pretty tanky I could help with extra fire damage to end it.

But overall I found them challenging enough, altho their speed was abit insane tbh so good to hear you've lowered it by quite some margin.
I have never fought a default invisible entity tho since IMO it's BS to have enemies that you (and only you) cannot see so I always used Requiem+, but that mod have some other issues so it's now replaced with this modification.
Still not high level enough to try fighting them in Soul Cairn but I reckon they will be a challenge especially in mobs.

I think you will enjoy the (soon to come) v1.2. Hopefully the final version, but I am now working on tweaking the actual encounter with them, working on balancing their speed and evolving their abilities to make them more interesting.

Having tried the new version now in Soul Cairn, I can say that I kinda like them. They feel pretty scary with the sound of them materialising and then start punching you.
I was looking forward to seeing them in the Fellglow Keep room but somehow I must have forgot to install it since they were the old invisible entities..DOH, well atleast I can say I've tried the default requiem entities now. Compared to your implementation they felt kinda dull tho and annoying, just as I expected. Just have to get to spot where they cant reach you and then summon atronachs on them.

But after I got it installed I had some brief encounters with them, Mehrunes Shrine and Pelagius Wing and finally facing off with them in Soul Cairn. For this character tho they were not really a match, with high primary skill in 1h, alteration and evasion I can win the 'boxing' match, even when facing multiple of them at once. But I reckon for a midlevel player they will wreck you and guess that's the purpose of them and that is much better than the invisible BS the original entities came with.

EDIT: OK, the nightblade character mentioned tried them in Soul Cairn, I found out if I'm not careful just one of them can end me in 3 hits, and that was with tempered Ancient Shoruded armor and the illusion spell Shadow Shield, so they still hit very hard.

Hmm, I remember fighting them in Soul Cairn (before 1.2) with my full tempered Daedric armor wielding archer.. While I could end them with 4-5 arrows, damn. If they got close, it's game over. 2-3 hits and RIP with tempered Daedric Armor.. with this mod Soul Cairn experience was really good, intense and fun. Thank God there is Serana to do some tanking.

Hmm, I did have the 100 perk in Evasion and that one has a high chance to completely negate attack, coupled with good light armor and mage armor rank 4 maybe that was why they seemed a bit easy

The initial concept from Xarrian was that they were Xivilai (from other TES games) so they were god like (draedra) creatures. ¿Could you use this race instead? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48763/?

It's certainly possible, but I'm probably not going to do it. But you could suggest it to the Requiem team for 2.0. Ogerboss said that he was considering making changes to them (don't ask me for more detail than that, I don't have it).

He's saying making them non-invisible takes away some of their difficulty

This mod doesn't make them visible outright. They range between mostly visible to almost entirely invisible depending on conditions. On top of that they have other defensive and offensive improvements to balance them out.

But if you want the normal Invisible Entities just don't use it.

    Great mod!

Tested on high level character, and still they were fast and deadly (and scary! ), I'm keeping this mod on my playthrough. Also their appearance makes more sense than naked invisible fisting guy
