For some reason, I'm not getting the exact look, I did everything the last 3 screenshots tell me to and it doesn't look exactly the same as the other screenshots.

Maybe it is the FOV. And have you put everything to MAX in the gamesettings?

And I used Dynavision for the screenshots. Could be that too.

edit: Or maybe you made a mistake at the installation of COT and/or ELFX. Did you follow the instructions in my description?

I have already had both CoT and ELFX for a long time, but when I got imaginator it didn't work for some reason, so do I need this? Or should I just uninstall imaginator?

You need imaginator for this, because this is just a preset for imaginator. You have to change the numbers in the imaginator menu. If you don't know how to do it, carefully read the description of imaginator here on nexus.

Ok, but is this just like having both CoT and ELFX? Or better?

Don't worry, I just solved that question on my own.

Thank you so much for reminding me what Imaginator does. Had tried this years ago, did not really understand it. No MCM at that time. And, moreover, no explanation from you! Thanks!

ENB benefits, no cost!! Plants have colors! Fires have colors!

Love this, but... looking toward the sun in daylight is blinding. Any tips? [Your settings, but saturation at 25]

DL'd just so I could endorse. Can't vote this month, but Kudos given.

[Edit: Can vote! yah! and so I did.]

make sure you didn't touch the ingame brightness..... and you have COT 5 installed do you?

and thanks for your comment and endorsement

edit: and don't have another mod installed that touches the lighting

Just COT 5 and ELFX. Brightness was dialed down, now some more.
Not a big deal, just different. Would reducing the sunlight help?
And do you have any suggestions for the cinematic effects?

      Thanks!

Go to the cinematic section of imaginator and change the sky to -10 and try if it works for you.

And the Sunlight configuration changes the sunlight on the ground by the way ^^

I think I've figured this out: Sima "Ambient". Noticed that my interiors were very bright, so I tried things. With Sima ambient off, interiors normal, still colorful. Sima Ambient is great in dungeons-don't need a torch-and unnoticeable elsewhere until this setup. Now just use it in dungeons, facelight version elsewhere, and no more over-saturated lights.

      Thanks!

I'm glad you figured the problem out as I really startet paniking a little when you wrote "daylight is blinding" haha ^^

My post comes in english and german (below)

Absolute excelent preset for COT5 and ELFX combined.
COT5 is superlative during daylight, but the way it handles nights, in detail how it handles light sources during night, let me still switch back to Purity.
In real life the darker the night the better you can see light sources. Even a glimpse of a cigarette can be seen at far distances in dark nights. With COT5 you recognize a campfire when you nearly step into it. Perhaps that could be balanced with an ENB. But I haven´t dared to make one step into the jungle of ENBs yet and I don´t like the Idea though I use ENBboost. Your Preset gives the fires some warmth.
You have done a nice job.

      P.S.:
Your Preset works also fine for Purity combined with ELFX. I only made little alteratios: saturation 23; blue 5, orange red and yellow 0.

Dein Preset sieht auch für Purity mit ELFX gut aus. Ich habe nur kleine Änderungen gemacht: Sättigung 23, blau 5, Orange Rot und Gelb 0.

If it works for you its good. I've planned a preset for Purity but I'll propably make it from scratch because it has a different color tone and therefore you have to carefully look wich colors to boost to not completely destroy the feel of it.

Yeah I love FXAA too but left it from this preset for maximum performance. Originally it was part of it ^^

How do you get fxaa? From the game settings? Is that what you are using?

We just mean the FXAA Post Process injector wich could be added on top of this setup for even more appealing visuals.

What you see on the pictures is the ingame FXAA

Look here on skyrim nexus for it. It even has an easy installer and you can choose 4 different presets for it. It makes the image even sharper and with it you can tweak the colors too.
