Finally, reasoning behind using a mace for once. Can't wait to try this out! <3 I'll get to feel like I'm wearing metal plate armor as well as feel like I'm fighting someone in the same.
Your helmet-less version isn't actually helmetless. The ingame text about matching set is still vanilla and i am not getting the armour bonus with just 3 parts of armour, it still requires me to use a helmet to get the bonus and perk bonus
I downloaded the main file + helmet-less optional file but the game still requires a helmet for the full bonus. The text on the perk skill tree still says "full set" and just to make sure it wasn't leftover text I tested the armor values in my inventory and it certainly still requires a helmet for the full set bonus. Is there a fix for this? I'm not using any other mods that change the heavy armor perk skill tree.
I'm using the helmetless version, but all of the perks still list the head slot as requirements. I only downloaded/activated the helmetless version. I'm not sure if this is just leftover text or if it actually requires a helm to access the perks. With that said, this mod is amazing; because of this mod I actually made a character that uses heavy armor instead of light.
Mods that usually edit the same thing will give an error... and one will win: seems like this mod just overwrote the info, because it still has it own description, you should test it, there could be a chance because your game is still working.
For me when i would have 2 mods that change the perks of a tree i dont even get into the menu
Heya Wedge, would you be willing to release a version that gives the Insulated perk without requiring the helmet?
I use another mod that removes helmets from armor set requirements mostly because of Dragon Priest Masks, but of course, they don't do anything for your new perk.
