- The treasure wall now has an alternate model, with maps and notation tools. This new model and the old treasure wall can be switched back and forth any time, though you need to remove treasure, or it will look a little funny. Both models share the same switchable fabric. The activator for alternating between the models is down towards the floor, at about knee-level.
- Most fabrics patterns have been revised, changed entirely or have had their hue tuned. Patterned fabric now show various levels of wear and stress, depending on if they are found inside or outside. There are two new pillows in the bed, with many new color combinations possible.
- The bed-area now has an oil painting with 12 switchable motives. They're taken from screenshots, and run through a hazy oil-filter to give them a painted look.
- There is now an additional, hexagon-shaped cold frame structure! The new one has 3 spots, and is primarily made to hold short plants that are difficult to harvest in the old, taller cold frame. Leeks are the tallest plant that can fit comfortable in all 3 spots, but 2 spots have room for mountain flowers, if you want something flowery instead. Potato, tomato and wheat are better suited in the tall cold frame. Each of the 3 planting spots have enlarged activators for easier access, placed at the outer edge of the structure.
- There are two new custom oil-lamp models, and the ones that hang outside now gently twist in the wind.
- The armor workbench has been replaced for a custom model with new clutter. The area itself is also filled out a bit with a rough rug and patches of drifting snow. Container names have been updated for a more streamlined look, and the "overhang" structure has been upgraded with better looking rope knots.
- New clutter items for enchanting and alchemy. Alchemy has a new needle/injector mesh and a new microscope (both replace older witcher models). Enchanting has some new jewelry, a new open book and some goldsmithing tools. The shelf over enchanting now also houses a wood-carved elk statue.
- The door to the cottage can now be locked/unlocked by clicking an activator near the new lock model.
- The script for building the home has been updated. You no longer "get stuck" after building everything. Instead, you have 10 seconds to exit the now empty build menu, before the drafting-table vanishes. Hitting "jump" still works, if you accidentally linger too long, and get stuck anyway.
- Other, minor things include new frame-structure for the bed, new texture for the hanging wall-rug branch, a new ladder model and a new, custom breakfast tray in the bed.
- All building toolboxes have been combined into a Drafting Table that is located outside. You may need a fresh game to see it. Please note that building the decoration options removes the workbench itself, so this option should be saved for last. This is noted in the description, but can be difficult for vanilla UI to read properly.
After building the decoration options, the workbench will disappear but your character will stay in the enchanting-table-animation. Cancel out of the current menu, and hit "jump", and you'll be back to normal.
I really enjoy this cottage. It's very detailed and beautiful. Thank you for the decorating choices you give in it. The music player is delightful. The view outside is spectacular. The only critique I have is the lighting is very orange for me, it makes it difficult to see the colors of things. That could just be my game though and I know how to adjust the lighting. Have you ever thought of doing a family home? I think you would make an awesome one. Thank you for the hard work and for sharing your cottage.
Sorry didn't see your comment till now. You can use tes5edit to change the lighting template. The lanterns and candles still glow orange, which I like. It tones down the the rest depending on how you change the lighting template. I think I just used the one that most farmhouses use. I also don't use an ENB.
For those Who are Looking for the Cheat box whit all the items Stand in the Area where the House should be in Disactivate Collision (for pc - Console and type in : tcl ) (for xbox and ps i have no idea) and go through the ground and you wwill find a Dwemer box and thats it :) cozy house
I'm actually not sure, but unfortunately, probably?
I've tried to stick to old names and entries for stuff, but some things, like the hexagon planter, won't be accessed with an old save.
What you can try, is to get all your s#*! out of the house, go to another location, hard save, quit, uninstall the game, log in back, type "PCB" in console (purge cell buffer), hard save, log out, install the new version, and use the cheat chest to build the home to the point of your old state.
If this works, let me know. It is the only solution I can think of, and it would be helpful to see if it actually works.
I've always adored this mod but never had just the right roleplay to use it. Now i do and i'm stoked to finally grab it. The only thing i would change about the mod though is the interior lighting, it's just too warm. I wish it was cooler (less orange, more white light) and probably even a large window. I might be able to read how to attempt to edit the lighting myself but i doubt i can get the window done. Is it possible you can add it?

Such a nice spot for a humble home.
