Here's what changed in the new version. It is safe to update this mod into an existing game, but it is always a good idea to make a backup of your savegames first. Let me know if there are any bugs or issues I need to fix.
Bug Fixes: - The Immersive Armors/Immersive Weapons FormID error has finally been corrected. Sorry it took me so long to fix. - You can finally give certain items to your adopted children as gifts. - The problematic bone and flint daggers have been removed. If you would like to add them back, you can download them from the original Bone Dagger Collection mod. - All of the previous hotfixes and patches have been incorporated into the FoMOD installer, so you only ever need to download one file.
New Features: - All new alchemy ingredients are now CACO-compatible right out of the box. No patch required. - Your adopted children will sometimes give you "homemade" gifts that they carved themselves. - New compatibility patches for Left Hand Rings Modified and Hunter's Cabin of Riverwood have been included. - All compatibility patches are now safe to merge with one another
Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in communication. This mod is still in development, but it has been put on hold for the time being so that I can focus on Real Life. I haven't had a chance to look into the newer version of Hunterborn or any conflicts that might arise because of it, and I am aware of some of your requests have taken a lot longer than I said they would. I hope I will be able to return to Skyrim soon, but I need my wife to finish grad school and my workload to diminish before it will ever be feasible. Thank you for your understanding.
There was a Scrimshaw mod, that allowed the player to make rock cairns, build igloos, and even snowmen, but I can't find it anywhere? I thought that was wha this mod allowed the player to do. Does anybody know the name of that mod? It doesnt matter who answers, just whoever knows the answer
Still using this, still a big fan. It covers a lot of visual and aesthetic niches that the game lacks, and I've enjoyed making a lot of its goodies. The only issue I'm finding is that, for whatever reason, some of the headdresses aren't enchantable... and that's kind of a bummer for anyone who really likes these. Are there any modifications of this mod that have this issue fixed?
This mod has a lot of conflicting files with Interesting NPCs, and I'm not sure which should load first. Interesting NPCs didn't have any conflicting files with Hunterborn, so I'm confused. Help with the load order anyone?
I would like to know this too, I refrained from installing Scrimshaw cause I can't imagine a game without Interesting NPCs but I was surprised they conflict at all. Load order help would definitely be appreciated!
I lost ALL of my PC data of the past 2 years back in May (thanks, Windows updates), and of course that means I lost 90% of all mods- and my main character I've had since 2012 went from level 83 to level 47. Anywho, I had Hunterborn for months and loved it, so I finally got around to redownloading it. I thought I was losing my MIND. Where's all the armors and weapons I remembered? Wasn't there more? Did I install wrong since I have to do it manually, due to Vortex no longer working on this machine? It's because I'd had this mod too! I had to look through my screenshots (they were safe on my unaffected drive) and saw Masterwork Bonemold Arrow. If not for those three words, I'm not sure I would've found this again, and I probably would've just started frustration-crying. Needless to say- given how vividly I remembered having this, and that I thought it was part of the original mod- you did amazingly well here, and I thank you!
No rush, Travlaney. Real life comes first, and thank you for all the hard work you've already put in this little wonder.
Still gotta ask, anyone out here reading, has anyone tried using the latest Hunterborn with Scrimshaw 3.1? Did anything blow up and it'd clearly be best to use Hunterborn 1.5 with it for now, or is it still usable with the latest version even if Scrimshaw hasn't been updated without much trouble?
I just tried installing it with 1.6 through Wrye and it resulted in a corruption warning for the main esp and campfire patch esp due to incorrect version numbers. So, yea, too bad but it ain't compatible without risking it to fukc up yerr game and spending the next way too many hours fixing the f*#@-up with a clean install.
Let us hope for the rise of a new version - soon, very soon.
Would be really glad to get an updated version to use with the latest version of Hunterborn. I will download just to endorse for now.= ) Thanks for your amazing work, will be tracking this one for sure!
