not surprising their are more than a few mechs' and character's in japanese pop culture that have floating metal panels as sheild's and weapons. these would go great with any armor styled after Zone of the ender's or kurogane no linebarrels' mechs.
do they move at all or just hang their? if these can be rigged to the wing bones they could at least move with the character.
are their any animations that could be scripted to shield the player or lash out to attack enemies, that would be awesome...
...even better a spell, power or shout to summon more and fire them at enemies.
just a question cause i like the plates but my character doesn't wear daedric armor, would you be opposed to someone making a standalone armor out of these that can be worn,by itself if they gave you credit for the original nif files?
Could ya try making this a "standalone" so it dosent replace vanilla armor? cose i like it but having it on both followers and myself would be....well "screen blocking"
i dont know how to make stand alone armors at the moment, but i could suggest downloading GarryG's daedric armor and weapons mod, it contains a retextured standalone daedric set :-), but if you dont like the texture, just change it with other texture sets out there, i would suggest glorious daedric retexture by Gloriouz
Yes this was inspired by anubis, gawd i love that orbital frame XD im not good wiith costom standalone armors but eventually i'll try and make one as for male version, i'll make one in the near future ggonna be busy at school so i wonnt be making it anytime sooner
