From what I was able to see of the fort is great...however it uses the same location as Skyrim Community College....the College actually kinda fits right inside the fort..but makes it too cluttered for me..anyway even with that going on this will still get an endorsement from me...looks great!
Ok ran into something weird. When I tell my followers to relax they completely disappear! This doesn't happen every time but at least 1 in 5 followers disappear. I have set this place as their home so they shouldn't wander off when told to rest. It seems to happen most when they start wandering around the archery and sword training area near the tower. I will see what I can do to replicate the disappearance to get you better information.
Edit for Clarification: These followers are not wandering off they are disappearing completely. I took one follower in and told her to relax. After a few minutes of breaking down some items for crafting materials I noticed that character was nowhere to be found. I checked each of the houses to see if she was sleeping somewhere and found nothing. I drew my weapon (a bow) and heard my follower draw her axe but she was nowhere to be seen.
I have not been able to duplicate the issue and it's most likely a rendering problem. Can you send me a screenshot of the spot? If you need to send it to my gmail thats fine.
First, try lowering your video settings to low with low details, then see if the followers still vanish. If not, your video card may not be powerful enough to render the players with whatever mods you have that might be HD.There should be nothing from the CK that would have caused that except for the navmesh. With the screen shot I can check that out, but I think someone out of 700 users would have reported it by now if that were the case.
Oh yes, that would probably do it. It's difficult to keep your game intact with broken script references. For this reason, I use the "Save Game Script cleaning application ... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
Over 255,000 gamers are using this program. It's pretty easy to use. Just load the save that you want to check on, anylize it, then clean ... (disable references), then load that (repaired) saved game and you should see an improvement.
It has worked well for me on a few occasions, but it's great to use on occasion just to make sure you haven't inadvertently spawned one.
hi just started using scoundrel's falls, noticed on description page you know of no conflicting mods..found one, a soft conflict. war with the aldmeri dominion https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=240172597
one of the battles between the skyrim soldiers and the aldmeri dominion is right inside the fort walls..,looks kind of cool though' like they are battling for the fort.
noticed another thing at the fort, the fort not scoundrel's vault some chests respawn (so storage isn't safe) the ingredient, gemstones, potions chests in between the enchanter and the alchemy lab and the food storage chest and the ingot chest all respawned. the ingot chest respawning is a bonus (all those ingots) but the others would just end up being unused because anything anyone put in them would disappear. i lost a little but those extra ingot paid for me to buy it all back:-) oh and beautifully done fort, endorsed.
New version 2.5 fixes the container re-spawn issue. It features the autostrip for the hot tub (followers only).
Warning: Before installing this update, remove items from all storage containers and put them in another container in Breezehome or your chest in Winterhold college, or give the stuff to your followers, or just drop them on the floor and put them back into the containers after you have downloaded this to avoid losing your stuff.
Update Version 1.5 Increased navmesh behind smelter, (the only change).
I also want to note that this mod is difficult to optimize since it is one large open area. Because of that fact you may experience some lag and or rendering problems if you have low quality equipment. To improve these problems, install a higher watt power supply ... around 700 watt rating, and install a better video card. Ask your electronics dealer about one suitable for your gaming and for your system. If your processor speed is too slow none of the previous advice will help ... in that case, blow up your PC and buy a new one!
Thanks to the gamers who endorsed this mod! Rock on!
Thank you tons my friend! I'm going to officially name you my #1 groupie! It's a real honor hearing your praises.
I am just about to release my first two followers on Nexus. (tonight), So if you need a follower they will be hanging out in the Riverwood Sleeping Giant Inn.
Yes, I will be the Prez of the Whitemorn Fan Club! I hope you get lots of downloads and endorsements on this beauty and I can't wait to see what you'll dream up next!
Thanks a bunch! I hereby christen you as my #1 fan.
I'm currently working on Hollow Rock Haven which will be one of my favorite projects. It will include a bar maid, a bard, and 1 follower who enjoys playing her flute at different moments in the game.
I hope to have the mod ready before Christmas, but I have one issue to iron out first.
It looks like this is right on top of one of the Fast Travel Wayshrines in the Skyrim Wayshrines mod. Coincidentally, I love using Constructible Shacks to build around that wayshrine and use this beautiful location as a home. I am yet to test it but either way, thank you for creating a home for me in my favourite spot! It's so nice, right? Good view of White River, the mountains, Whiterun, it's great! XD
Good work, but You should upload this one in another version where it's a bandit fort, like a little dungeon. There are already hundreds of player home everywhere.
Thanks for the advice. As for the many player homes, I don't think you can really say that there are many forts. There are so many categories of player homes, and people have different tastes ie: some want Dwarven, others may want Farmhouse etc. And then there are the many mods that require DLC's. Also, many player home mods come with followers and quests, which may not be something attractive to everyone.
I have looked at quite a few player home mods that are simply copies of farm houses already existing in the game but with a few things added but not enough to be very useful.
I don't plan on doing anymore fort themed player home mods. Perhaps you will find one if you do a search.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
