The outside is a truly gorgeous work of art, however, the inside is distinctly underwhelming, in that it strives for some kind of adequacy and falls short, a problem I've found with 90% of these mods. Seriously, what is it? It's like all these designers put all the time into the outside, so the actual interior becomes an afterthought. It's not just you, please don't take this as personal attack or insult--as I've said, it's problem shared by 90% (optimistically generous estimate there) of the skyrim mod homes. I realize that not every modder can be Elianora, but there are others who have managed to create interiors one wouldn't mind actually living in.
This could be a brilliant mod, if you just devoted more attention to a comfortable interior.
Thanks for the honest feedback! but I think I speak for a lot of modders when I say that we make mods as we like them to be, not as how the general audience wants it. Hence I made the interior as I want it be. if you'd like to change anything, go ahead! hell, you can even upload it as long as you notify me first. All I'm saying is: I made it because I wanted to, not because I have something to deliver. That people actually download the thing is just a nice extra.
But thanks again for taking the time to look at it!
I concur, I absolutely love the exterior, it's not too extravagant or too simple/small. But a new interior would be fantastic. If I had the time or know-how, I would gladly do so myself
It's actually pretty well thought out already, with an interesting layout to the home, but there's quite a bit of "clutter" for not much appeal. I'd probably lessen the amount of "junk" items, and throw in some foliage or decorations, since most of the textures for that stuff are low quality shades of grey or brown.
Interesting, I was thinking a long time ago but in the end I never got around to doing so of adding lock's to the rivers and linking the waterways of Riften to the sea via Windhelm.
There are mod's that have made the rivers navigable but so far there has been no realistic link to the Riften Dock's, one other solution I considered was making a network of underground river's called the Dwemer Canals with east empire warehouse door's as there dummy entrance and exit, I was hoping someone would make a network of underground tunnels with subterranean settlement's included abandoned/haunted ones were no one lived any more and Dwemer hall's that the unwary adventurer had best avoid.
But this ship style home reminded me as I think it would go fantastic with a ship lock nearby that maybe once or maybe still does carry ships up and down, of course that would then go best with a new settlement as well or maybe two, Down lock Village and fort and Up lock Village and fort with a Lock Keepers guild whom have grown rich and fat from charging ship's a toll to carry there good's through there lock's with accompanying missions to either fend off bandits or help them seize the fort's and gain a cut of the booty with the latter having a bounty placed on your character in the two hold's of Riften and Windhelm.
Great looking mod and I see potential, nice house idea for a boat type house near to Windhelm too or even a lake town type mod with houses build out of and on old ship's hulk's though the lakes in the game like it's rivers leave a lot to be desired so maybe instead a slum town made of a more rickety style near to solitude or windhelm with seedy wooden planked streets and closely packed floating homes and business always shrouded in fog.

Recently built an LE game and I ran into the minor clipping issue seen in the picture below:

I do believe that's from Qaxe's Questorium. Anyone wanna teach me how to move one of these buildings out of the other's way somehow using CK? Lol...
