Figured out what is causing the one handed sword to appear black compared to the greatsword. Open up Nifscope, right click on a trishape go to "mesh" and set "face normals". Do that to all the trishapes except for the glow map one. Hope this helps someone!
im gonna enjoy using this. I always hated the way the vanilla swords looked, they were too bulky. Hell, the Daedric sword in Oblivion and the Silver Swords from that looked Better then Skyrims.
I am using this in SE without any porting and it works fine. It's just a straight replace of the texture files and such so there is no esp so it works fine.
This mod is killer. I don't like the look of most of the vanilla Skyrim swords. The worst two were the daedric and ebony swords. I always ended up using axes purely for aesthetics. With this and Insanity's Ebony Sword Replacer (changes ebony swords to how they were in Oblivion), I can use those swords again.
