wew this idea just briliant. it can be develop into something more complex perhaps? an orchestra concert? choir of bard for in blue palace? religious choir on high horgthar?
after all this mod idea is really original. even chesko never make something like this.
Thanks man, yeah I'm not sure why it isn't as popular on the Nexus, on Steam it has had about 1000 downloads which is weird as I always thought that Nexus mods were more popular than they are on Steam. In any case, thanks for checking out the mod, its always nice to hear good comments
also for some reason on Steam it has passed over 1000 downloads, so it has got more attention over there. It would be great to get more on the nexus, but if fewer people enjoy it I hope it becomes one of those 'hidden gem' mods that only a select group of people know about!
I think the Zelda Wind Waker fans would love this. I think this could create something memorable if connected with some zelda creation like "Windfall Island from The Legend Of Zelda The Wind waker"
I did think about other songs/influences to use. For now I'm more likely going to do a Christmas themed one in time for next month, but Zelda is a good shout, I thoroughly enjoyed Ocarina of Time and the musical aspects of that game.
Sounds good, Love this mod btw. Is it possible to have the sounds play like they do in first person. They get more quiet. This makes a-lot of potential for atmohpere in skyrim I love the detect life spell. Is one able to make sound files associated with items of skyrim like ur items without a large amount of modding skill? I would love to make something of my own if u gave a guide.
It depends on what you want to do with the sound but it is easy with the Creation Kit. Do you mean editing the sound files in the CK or do you mean actually creating the sounds from scratch? Like making new, original sounds?
In the CK when you open the "weapons" list and double click on a weapon, in the edit menu that appears you can change all the sounds of the weapon. There are sounds for "Attack fail", "Impact sound" and "Idle sound" and if you click on these you can pick a new sound.
As for creating the sound iteself, this is much more complicated, I used a program called Logic 9, which is specialist recording software. There are free recording programs - one is called "Audacity", it is a free download and if you have a microphone you can record your own voices and sounds.

OhMiGosh! This is probably one of those few pioneering mods for Skyrim as I have never heard or come across a similar one or a variation of it. Your mod has trail blaze the way for a whole new modding category. KUDOS for the innovation!! Endorsing now.
Hi ermita, thank you very much for your comments about the mod. I wanted to make something unique and I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed it, thanks for taking the time to endorse
Wow this is pretty awesome! I love the picture on the back wall, a nice little touch.
As a tip, if you want to pack the SEQ file into a bsa, you can use Archive.exe in your Skyrim directory. You gather up the files yourself, put them in a Data folder outside the skyrim directory, then drag that data folder into the Archive window.
Thanks for the tip and kind words about the mod. When I tried to add the SEQ file my system just crashed every time, although I realise now that must have been because I was putting them into the folder inside the Skyrim directory and not a folder outside the directory. I tested the files and they work fine, but I will take your advice and try packing them again later
