Awesome mod!! 2 things 1.can u make a repeating version and 2.can u make the arrows a little more defined can barely see them LOL TY again great mod :)
I always wanted to use Spectral arrow but felt it was too weak. I use it with my Thieves guild character, its a little different but sneakier than using a bow i think. My thief is a Breton also so it makes sense racially.
How long will the Spell last and please let me hold in the shoot button for rapid fire, its annoying to shoot 1 Arrow at a time.
The Spelltome is not with Farengar, must i be at a certain Conjuration Level for the Tome to appear. Please give the Right Console Command. player.additem 000b3165 1
Just to clarify, spectral arrow is already in game. It's apprentice conjuration level. My mod is a copycat of this spell but with higher damage and mana cost to replace it once you reach higher levels of conjuration magic. Sort of "Enhanced Spectral Arrow" if you want to call it.
The spell shots a small arrow or dart to whatever you are aiming. In addition to its damage it staggers the enemy for 0.5 seconds (pretty much like dual casting a destruction spell once you have the "impact" perk). I am not sure i have the necessary skills to do "hold in button for full auto" spells. I could mimic a channeled spell cast ( like "lighting storm" ) but then you would not be able to move / run while casting it. My spell is instant cast tho, so you could pretty much hammer mouse1 and mouse2 to get a "machine gun" effect. Be warned tho, in my video i am lv50+ with all conjuration perks and with 700+ mana. Trying to do that at lower skill will drain your mana very fast.
The spell tome should be available at random vendors / chest /drop just like any other spell, but keep in mind that is Expert lv, so you won't be seeing it at low levels. The console ID to addit with player.additem command is different for everybody, since the first part of it depends on the place this mod is in your load order.
Finally, a bashed patch is a file you create with a tool called Wrye Bash (a tool just like NMM or Mod Organizer, FNIS, etc). For a better understanding of why would you need / want this tool or create this file i will give you an theoretical example: - You download and install MOD A, that is a collection of armors that you can either craft at forge or loot from different sources (bodies, chests, etc). For this last feature a mod needs a "leveled list" to be included in the mod. What is this? Basically a list of places, enemies or vendors that this item has a chance to be available - Then you download and install MOD B, that is a different collection of armors and it has its own leveled list. Since you installed this later, this mod will be lower in your load order - Because of how skyrim mods works the leveled list of mod B will overwrite the leveled list of mod A. In other words you will still see the armors of mod A when crafting, but won't see any of them on chests or dead bodies. - Wrye Bash allows you to solve this by creating a bashed patch. Basically Wrye Bash reads all the mods you have, copies the leveled list of all mods (that have a leveled list, of course) and makes 1 unique final leveled list. Instead of making Mod B overwrite mod A it will add them, so now you have Mod AB leveled kind of speaking.
For a better understanding on how to install and use that tool i'd suggest you google it and watch some videos. If you use mod organizer and you have already installed other tools like FNIS, Reproccer, etc then you could watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1Es06MtAZM
It is very detailed and well explained, but of course there are others you can watch.
Hope i was clear and did not confused you even more
Thanks for the help, the wall of text did gave me a headache though :p
You should see this Mod on How he did it, but i prefer an Updated Mod like yours where i know you are still around http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35807/?
Thanks for the link, i will check it out! But just like i suscpected, doing that will drain your mana superfast. I would have to lower the dmg and mana cost, wich might be just a completely different mod.
Sorry about the "wall of text", but you asked many questions and some where not easy / short to answer
I made a small video where i "hammer" Mouse1 and Mouse2. I know its not the same, but...
Sorry, but as i said that would be a completely different mod that has nothing to do with this one. As a matter in fact, in a personal opinion of course, i would consider this mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13803/?) to fall more in "cheats and god items" than "spell and enchantments". The amount of damage per second, not to mention the speed rate at wich you would level conjuration skill, should be insane.
The spell is called " Daedric Arrow " ( because it's an upgrade for " Spectral Arrow " ) but no bows or crossbows are involved, it's just a magic projectile launched from the casters hands (just like a fireball). I would have called it " Daedric Dart " or " Daedric Spear " if the apprentice spell was called "Spectral Dart" or "Spectral Spear" If you still have doubts about the mechanics just watch my videos
My animations are either game default or the supplied by XP32 Maximum Skeleton (could not tell you for sure wich since i have been using this skeleton for as long as i remember)
I also use Faster Magic Spell mod ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69376/?), so the animation you see is should be Master spell casting without the need of "charging" it (instant cast)
that animation when casting the atronach didnt look like ritual spell, i dont think mater spell is used for frost atronach is why i asked, i have xp32 as well and i never seen that animation, thx
Oh, well... i do not use any extra animation mod. All i have installed is XP32 skeleton, then use FNIS and click on arm fix + gender animation boxes. As far as i know thats all i have, so the animations "should" be the default for conjuration master spell only just "fast forward"
I've always liked the Spectral Arrow Spell but because of its damage and playing at a higher level difficulty it lost its edge to me. Perhaps this working with my own mod can help get that edge back for future playthroughs. Thank you.
I thought this spell summons arrows to be used with bow... Yeah my character is an ordinary archer. I thought with a bit of conjuration skill and a spell, she could be an arcane archer... well, something like that.
Bound bow might be more suitable for you then It does suck that its only available at a high conjuration level tho (i think it's adept)
This spell might suit better to a mage or a spellbinder. You can use it in your left hand, stagger the target so you get close safely and then attack with your bound sword / dagger

If you plan to be a mage i would also suggest that you install Awakened Magica
