Nice mod, but I encountered two bugs (see the "Bugs" section). While the first one was not quest-breaking (if you don't mind using console to fix stuff), the second one (during the second quest) was. I have no idea what might have caused both bugs, but it could have been a compatibility issue (maybe because I had followers when I did his quests?).
Hi. I'm having similar problems mentioned here. The keys at candlehearth are no where to be found, I console checked the arexonquest01, 02 and 03 and they all give "not compiled" error. Matius's armor quest also stalls out but i can get it running with the console.
I manually added the key to my inventory as well as grabbed he "ancient wine" from the chest and that didn't trip and quest segments either.
The lost knife hideout is cleared BTW.
Lastly Arexon won't give any advice just says "i overheard your conversation with the chef" after he asks me to search for the key.
Any ideas?
Update: I brought the mod into CK and re-saved it. It did get some bugs fixed with the search for the armor (matius) and a couple other quest of the mod but not the main quests in this mod. I no longer get "not compiled" but it still does not generate the keys or activate the quests.
Fus Ro S' OH works fine and to be honest i always have in installed in skyrim. BTW for any one searching for it it also goes by the name "universal silent voice"

For some random reason the arexeon quest started working, and i didn't change anything, except for speaking to the cruel sea captain about who was prominent in windhelm before going into candlehearth hall to meat arexeon.There were still long delays in reaction times even with fus ro DUH (universal silent voice) which caused problems with the quest moving along. I did finish the mod but i have a feeling that i missed something, just don't know what it is.
I managed to convince arexeon too stay in Skyrim in his Alyed hideout at the end so that's good. I think.
Despite the bugs i enjoyed the mod, thank you.
BTW check your recovered inventory arexeon didn't return my bow and swords. I re-added them via the console because they don't come up anywhere in the quest.
Hey, thank you for all your work on this mod - any chance you're looking for someone to help edit lines and such? I'm currently downloading it, so if you need someone to check for inconsistencies or some such while playing, or to provide suggestions, I'd be happy to. Main thing is it'd be much easier to do that through some form of IM. Let me know if you'd like another set of writer's eyes. Character consistency and quality is a specialty of mine.
I would prefer that you make a list and then make a thread with that list in forums or bugs so I can read them when I have the time. I'm usually doing university work, playing games, or fixing bugs from other mods that I made from other games.
I've been noting down what I've found so far, so if forums are what's easiest for you, I'll go make a thread. It sounds like you're busy with the same things as I am, save for modding work.
Downloaded and installed but have run into a slight issue. After talking with the Chef and then talking with Arexon he tells me to find the key. But my quest log doesn't update only tells me to talk to him, the key isn't on either of the NPC's to pickpocket or is it behind the bar. Am I missing something or is my game glitched?
I like this mod. Finally some inspiration for my Argonian characters. I particularly like the choice of combat style and the training acapability, which is always something useful specially if related to enhancements... I've never used Fuz Ro D'oh, I have no clue of what that does so that's my only concern right now. Anyway, I will give it a try, the potential looks - honestly - huge!

Fuz Ro D'Oh is an addon that allows unvoiced dialogue to work with Skyrim. Probably one of the top 100 mods of all time since so many other mods rely on it.
