BACKGROUND LORE:
Mercenaries across all the universe are converging to Skyrim. They are mighty and mysterious legends that are constantly looking for fame, glory and new epic adventures to experience. Oh, and money too, of course. They heard that there are big troubles going on in Skyrim: a bloody civil war tearing apart the land, dragons awakening and a mysterious man, raised to hero, that is trying to save the world on his own. It's time for these mercenaries to find out if somebody in Skyrim requires their services. Glory, epic treasures and money? They cannot let this opportunity go to waste.
DESCRIPTION, CONCEPT AND WHY THE MOD WAS BORN:
I really like a lot of followers and weapons mods here on Nexus. Problems is: more often than not there isn't a very good or immersive way to obtain them. Most times you get followers and items for free.
I thinked a lot at what would be the best way to address this issue. Infact this mod aims at fixing it. This mod will get many custrom NPCs (NOT MADE BY me, but from other authors as you can see in the credit list) around Skyrim equipped with wonderful items (NOT MADE BY me, but from other authors as you can see in the credit list)... BUT they are ALL hirelings and you will need to spend a very large amount of gold (12k) to hire them. This way you can have the "candy" of the skyrim modding while still retaining the balance. Hell, i think this could even fit a Requiem run.
I'm not really a "modder" by any means, i'm just a hardcore fan of Skyrim and this wonderful community and this aims to be my attempt at giving something back to it. In fact i consider this a "community effort". As things stand now the mod is 100% playable but i still consider this a WIP - BETA release because i plan to evolve this mod a lot in the future and has a lot of potential (as you can imagine). Also make sure to read the "known issues" paragraph.
And please, PLEASE, make sure to report any problem in the post comment section, i'll try my best at fixing it if i can handle to do so. Also make SUGGESTIONS for future improvements of the mod!!

INSTALLATION / UNINSTALLATION:
I strongly suggest you to use a mod manager, specifically Mod Organizer (you know... just to semplify ur life). You must install the 2 "Main files" and then the update to 1.1, in this order.
For manual installation (lol wut?) just drop the files in the data folder.
The mod should be removable at any moment as it does not contain scripts (altough i NEVER reccomend to uninstall a mod mid-save).
COMPATIBILITY:
Should be compatible with anything since this mod just basicly adds new stuff. Only incompatibilities could be mods that alter the global variables of the HirelingGold and specific factions of some hirelings. There are maybe like 2 mods in all the Nexus that does something like this, that i'm aware of. As always, if you encounter any problem just let me know.
About the load order i suggest to place this mod as low as possible. By the way you should use Loot.
KNOWN ISSUES:
1- As you will probably notice soon enough all the female hirelings of this mod speak like Jenassa. This is done for technical reasons and right now is necessary for the mod to happen. I'll try to fix this in future releases, if it's even possible. Also feel free to PM me yourself the solution if you have any.
2-Don't drop the items of this mod on the ground. Never. Because some items don't have ground models so bad and strange things could happen. I told ya. Ok, i corrected this for the armors that needed a world-model. STILL some armors doesn't match their world-model (read: it's a simple random vanilla world-model), because fixing that is waaay beyond my abilities, currently, and also it would require a huge amount of work. So, as things stand now, if you drop an item on the ground NOTHING BAD will happen (Read: now you are safe), but don't expect every item world-model to match in appearence the actual piece.
3- for the mod to play best and as intended you should start a new game, because if you don't HirelingGold variable will not be applicated and you will be hiring the guys for pretty much free (500g in vanilla is basicly nothing). Don't ask me why, i have no idea.
F.A.Q / Q & A :
Q: Why the hell there are 2 .esp files?
A: Technical reasons.
Q: But that's murdering my .esp count limit!
A: I don't care. I'm evil. You are welcome. (no seriously, this will get ironed out at some point)
Q: What happen if i have 1 or more follower already?
A: I reccomend to just uninstall them right away. Nothing bad will happen (technically nothing bad should happen even if you keep them, but i reccomend to uninstall them so you don't end up having duplicates).
Q: Melissa and Tris have missing textures (they have purple parts). What can i do?
A: Both of them have a BSA file. Make sure you are loading those BSA correctly. If you have MO just let MO manage your BSAs and make sure they are checked in the BSAs tab. If you are NOT using MO (god have mercy) try to unpack those BSAs (people reported that it worked doing this way).
