Stops Paper Map Vigilant working. Loading game starts a new game.

    Toxic.

    Should be withdrawn.

It is recommended to turn off NPC's conversation face lighting, as this feature may conflict with some MODs and cause the game to crash.

I know I may be overlooking the obvious but how do you target an NPC? I point towards one so that it displays their name then open the MCM and it just says NULL. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

You have to actually target them, by one of two methods:

Target the NPC directly in the console using the mouse:

      • Get close to the NPC
      • Open the console
      • Click on the NPC in the console view
      • Close the console
Use the PRID (Pick by RefID) command:

      • Look up the NPC's RefID on UESP or get it in some other way

      • Open the console
      • Enter prid <RefID>
      • Close the console

The NPC will remain targeted until you or the game targets someone else

Neither method worked for me. When I click the NPC in the console, it shows their name and information, indicating they've been successfully targetted (and the prid command gives no errors indicating I entered it incorrectly). But the MCM still just says null. Would like this for conversation light, but I'd still like a constant light on certain followers.

Hi, at first you must enable "Editmode" in the Facelight+ Mod Configuration. Then follow the Steps from Vyxenne. Then close the Console and activate the Facelight with your "activate" Key in Front of the NPC. And look the Facelight is "on". And donĀ“t forget to deactivate the "Editmode" again when you are ready. ... All works fine. :-)

Is there a way to make this mod even brighter? With my enb it's virtually nonexistant

For anyone who CTDs on entering/exiting conversations, try disabling conversation facelight.

Yeah I got this bug as well. I really do miss having the conversation light function though. But no matter what I do - that function gives me constant CTD

Same, I miss it too. I think the script that governs it is broken somehow. It occurs exactly at the instant where the spell should be removed.

I just started experiencing this exact bug, never had a problem before but now I CTD right when the face light turns off after conversation.

Edit: just did some more testing, it seems unticking the "universal auto-toggle on sneak" option stops the CTD for me. As long as I don't talk to followers while sneaking it still works in conversation.

Same, damn thing since I installed. I narrowed the CTDs to Facelight, and haven't used it since, because, really, Facelight on conversations is the whole point to this mod. EDIT: Reinstalled and been using it without a single CTD ever again. No idea why.

Looking away does nothing because you still have to go back and look at the door to open it. I don't understand how this happened because I didn't set a hotkey for face light. It just started doing this after I loaded my game. Weird thing is when I save and exit I always take her to an empty cell so it's a faster load
