Does anyone know what the configuration of TIE has to be to match requiems defaults? As TIE has the vanilla settings as standard and i don't know how hard some encounters are in requiem if started too early.
I got TIE for requiem so I could delay hearthfire events and therefore yarls sending me messages when I feel I haven't done anything of note yet, when using it with requiem, does TIE use its preset defaults? or are the overridden by requiem, I ask because I don't want to change any of the default requiem settings for quests besides hearthfire yarl letters, would i have to set TIE settings up so they match requiems, besides hearthfire, to achieve that?
TES5Edit works in a way that one mod overwrites the other.. To make TIE work with Requiem properly you have to load it after Requiem, but then TIE controls all the quest delays, not just jarl letter.
You cant load it before Requiem because Requiem will overwrite alot (if not all) of the quest delays and make the TIE esp redundant.
When you have some knowledge in TES5edit you might try to figure out what entries belong to the jarl letter quest delay (by loading TIE and Requiem and comparing them) and make a custom patch for your desires
Is it safe to add both Timing is everything mod and this patch midgame? You only said its safe to add this patch.. Also, do I have to rerun Reqtificator if I add those 2 esp's? Is that safe? (Sorry about asking so over-accurately.. Im in the middle of a playthrough and adding TIE would be a great addition.. but I dont want to mess up my safe)

Edit: I checked Tes5Edit with my limited knowledge and came to the conclusion its safe to install.. without Reqtificator.. MCM was registered ingame and it seems to work (higher level will show ) Would be nice to hear a confirmation though
Thx for your quick answer.. and thx alot for the patch
Im attempting the madness of doing perma-death playthrough with Requiem, and this is really useful to balance out some of the rather annoying/unfair stuff, especially NRM dragonborn cultist attacks.
One more question out of curiosity.. Requiem is disabling vampire attacks by default.. with timing is everything loaded after Requiem does TIE win the conflict and get control over vampire attacks? Or is this setting irrelevant in the MCM?
I believe TIE will win over Requiem if put after. To fix that, simply change TIE vampire raids to level 101 (it disables them entirely, as a messagebox will confirm).
Um, this patch is unnecessary if you install TIE correctly. It needs to load *BEFORE* Requiem.esp. Then Requiem's changes to those quest timings override.
It depends on what you want TIE to do and what other mods you are running. For instance, I installed TIE to stop random cultists attacks. The random cultist attacks are modified by NRM Dragonborn (which delays them until after horn of jurgan windcaller is complete and perks the random cultists so they are Requiem worthy opponents), so, I need to load TIE after NRM Dragonborn in order to properly stop the random cultist attacks.
Since NRM Dragonborn is a Requiem patch, it must load after Requiem, therefore, to stop cultist attacks, TIE must also load after Requiem. I can imagine other similar uses for TIE that would require loading after Requiem. This mod seems like a nice patch for people using TIE for such purposes.
Good point. I forgot about that scenario. I didn't care for some of NRM's changes, so I just overrode them with a merge patch to restore Requiem's timings, but yeah, apart from that, you would have to load TIE and this patch after Requiem.esp. Thanks for pointing that out.
Not to mention all the daedric quests. You can spread them out abit, maybe some of them you have absolutely no interest in so those are set to Lvl101. Plus you don't get Durak in your face as soon as you hit level 20.
Loading TIE before Requiem, kinda makes it a moot point to even have in in your loadorder really.

Completely safe to add mid-game, and no Reqtificator needed.
(I created the patch when my playthrough was already started, so I did exactly what you did
