anyone like the idea of a fat chicken ( inspired by this and the fatman from fallout 3 ) mod where we can pick up a chicken, cast a spell or have it enchanted so it can be fired from a bow/crossbow or simply throw it at an enemy and have it explode on contact with whatever it hits, resulting in a yellow green mushroom cloud that smells like rotten egg and tastes like chicken stuffing?

not sure i'd use an already existing chicken, because the world comes after you if you touch a chicken, but i have thought before, and still do, that a bow that fires chickens as arrows... exploding or otherwise, would be funny.
so would some other chicken weapons, not sure you could do the chicken nunchucks... but maybe "hen grenades" (eggs that explode)

there was some nice ones in the little cut scenes of dungeon keeper 2. fairly certain there is also a movie with the chicken being fired by a bow.

its mods like this that keep Skyrim fresh and maintain its epic replay value. Does the witcher 3 have exploding physics enabled chickens? Well, tbh, I dont know.Maybe they do. If they do, no ones told me about it, so afaic, Skyrim is the still only place you can get chickens that explode.

Things I would like to see for future releases.

    -Timed exploding chickens
    -Proximity-fused chickens.

How could you go wrong if we had those?

For some strange reason Mod Organizer freezes when I try to install this.

The problem is probably on my end, but it is giving me a message about an incomplete esp file when I restart MO.

EDIT: Found the problem. There was something wrong with the zip file. Manually extracted the esp, put it into a .rar, and was able to install it with MO. You might want to do the same if other people report a similar problem.

Sorry to bust your nuts, but it's been done, and if you had the Steam version of Skyrim (cough cough) you would know that it's on the Steam Workshop, just like a whole bunch of things like s7o's Sit, and Crimes Against Nature (Steam Exclusive).

Dude you do realize not everyone uses the Steam Workshop right? The only mod I use is the Portal 2 mod by Valve but even I didn't know there was a Steam version. I've seen the Exploding Chickens deal from GameSpot before Cam and Seb retired from the channel but always figured it was on the Nexus already. Anyway, what exactly does your version "do" that's any different from the Steam one? I've seen a mod like this in highlight videos before and the same thing happens, character ragdolls and soars with a powerful enough explosion.

Oh, it's not different at all. The version here on the Nexus explodes but there's no ragdoll or physics happening. In my version, there is. Download the other version here
