Anfangrum's Cleft is in the Jerall Mountains and is located west of the non-passable gate to Cyrodiil following the road south from Helgen. It carries the Nordic Ruin map icon and is not immediately visible on the map.
I love the lore of the Nords and the ancient dragon worshipers. It seemed like a great starting point to create something.
I still feel it's unfinished and I would like to do a little bit more to it. Maybe add some npc's who eventually will become companions as well as add custom voices for them. I might add a vendor who could be a fellow adventurer or maybe a hermit type. I'd like to place a Dragon Shout WordWall somewhere. I definitely plan on expanding and filling out the Ancient Cave.

Is there a quest that leads to this dungeon, or is it a possible target for Radiant quests? Or do I just have to reference the location information here and go find it?
Decent dungeon. Well balanced - not too hard. No technical issues encountered. Endorsed. Some areas could do with more lighting though. I don't mean brighter, I mean more contrast and shadows, as some areas look slightly dull with no point-entity illumination.
Thank you for the endorsement & comments. Working the lighting in the construction kit was a task unto itself in learning. The engine is so twitchy and touchy it was hard to get the lighting how I wanted. I eventually ended up settling for what was close or near to what I wanted. In the construction kit, I basically opened other dungeons in the vanilla game and observed then tried to replicate those lighting scenarios.
Can't believe this doesn't have more endorsements. This worked flawlessly for me. Nothing over the top, but the design was extremely well done. Great work!

Wow, I am really glad I stumbled upon this - really well done, deserves far more endorsements. I had absolutely no issues, was a pleasure to play through - many thanks for putting the effort into this and sharing it, a real gem that is staying in my game.
There is a conflict with the entry point of Anfangram's and the Warzones 2015 DLC add-on. The DLC add-on puts an imperial mining camp at the same location where the Anfangram's nordic ruin appears on map. It also makes a bunch of landscape edits that block the entrance to Anfangram's from players view entirely. I'm not sure if there's anything to be done but move the entrance. Do you know of any issues that occur by doing so? I was thinking on moving the entrance of Anfangram's to a location between the border gates and bloodlet throne. There's a nice spot just between them. I was just wanting to double sure there's not a patch already in the works before I edit in CK. Thanks for the new worldspace and shiny new dagger.
Thanks Cornbreadicus for the conflict info regarding Warzones 2015. I'll look into maybe moving the entrance or setting something else up. There are so many mods these days it's near impossible for a modder to not have a conflict with something out there. If and when I do move the entrance, I'll be sure to update it here and let it be known in the update notes. Thanks again for posting the information and I'm happy that you enjoyed Anfangrum's Throne and the new dagger. Actually, the new dagger kudo's go to faxivcm as he (or she) created and shared those new meshes and textures.
GREAT dungeon so far! I like the idea of a quest but companions, house mods and weapon/armor mods are so overdone. Please stick to quest and dungeon creation as so VERY few of them get actually finished and done with out a lot of dirty edits.
However I am stuck at the frostfire hall gate. I have pulled every lever and chain in the hall (the hall after I use the silver claw key) but the gate will not open. Also some invisible column is in now in the hall, I can get around it but it is definitely there, seems to have come down or up from the floor after activating one of the levers in the hall (I could hear it as it rumbles into the hall) Could the last switch be intended to be found on this invisible wall/column?
I've uploaded a new version that simplifies the process for opening that final gate after the dragon claw door. The invisible column was a byproduct of an unused spike pillar that I had placed there to fool people into thinking there was a trap when there wasn't. I removed and reworked that area.
The switch to open the gate is very near now, just look around. No more backtracking to the final room or anything like that. There are also some switches that don't do anything, they are just there to mess with the player.
Sorry for the confusion and frustration. I plan to keep working on and off on Anfangrums Cleft.
