I don't get it, if I don't have any unofficial patch, any, do i need this? can i use desings of the nords too? or you need unofficial patches for everything? KEB doesn't explain anything about compatibility
I know this post is over a year old, but maybe some other guys looking at this page now are also confused. So you dont need the unofficial patches for these texture replacer. This texture only is for the markarth banner all the pther banners are only in original DoTN. So you may ask why this texture is sepratly thats because the Markarth banner is never seen ingame. So they never made an actual textures for it, but there are some mods which use this banner for example immersive college of Winterhold. Im not sure if the unofficial patches add the banners somewhere but they fix the texture.
But when you play Skyrim, especially if you use mods PLEASE do yourself a favor and use the unofficial patches (either USLEEP if you have all the dlcs or the sepreate ones if you only have one or two dlcs or no dlcs)

And thank you for alerting me to USLEEP's existence...now I have to check all my mods and learn how to use TES5Edit. Here's to hoping I don't repeatedly break the game by screwing something up.
With USLEEP out, all mods that use the USKP will need to be updated for the brand new patch. I actually wish designs of the nords and this mod were part of USLEEP, since these are fixes that need doing!
Reason this mod and DOTN will never be a part of USLEEP is because while they are beautiful, they are not true to Bethesdas Lore. So will not be incorporated into USLEEP, USLEEP is about Bugfixes only. And While it could also be argued that the USKP and USLEEP's version isn't Bethesda approved, It's probably closer to maybe what Bethesda envisioned as a banner for Markarth, Making it lore friendly, since Bethesda probably didn't have enough time to design a proper one because of the 11-11-11 date.
Also, nice thing about DOTN and DOTN Markarth is that they are just texture replacers, no need for patching, just install with MO, NMM, or manually, and done! No need for patching at all.
True, still the USKP Markarth Banners, even though they stuck out, they couldn't have been as bad as that Hideous thing Bethesda provided that looked like a rag covered in feces, and radioactive urine that spelled Markarth.
