while i agree the bones on the butt look ridiculous, as well as most of the "skirts" of the skyrim armors, i understand the importance as an armor part as they are there to represent upper thigh protection as there arent any leg encasing greaves like there were in oblivion. what i think would be better looking is if you could extend the overlapping plates at the lower back in more layers down the leg instead
Any plate armor that protects your butt or tighs will be unconfortable to sit in. Actually, in some sets of armor, it's not even possible to sit on a chair. You're only supposed to wear it on the battlefield, and any design that would be wearable on a daily basis would sacrifice performance in the one instance that makes armor useful.
Still, those hanging bones wouldn't offer much protection anyway, replacing them by one or two larger plates strapped to the belt and tighs would be much better looking and more practical.
I'm with you guys, was horrendous. and I agree with Graham dust, made it look like somenoe tied dogbones to my butt. will endorse as soon as the site lets me.
it is a retexture. he applied alpha to the vanilla texture in order to make part of the mesh invisible. but he didn't actually modify the mesh. check the files and see for yourself
