I love the idea behind this mod but its a bit time consuming to get it set up. I decided to delete it when I realized how much time it would take to put in the individual load orders for ordinator and apocalypse. If you could include a way to only input the load order once and it automatically replaces all of the __ that would be great.
I really wanted to do something like that but unfortunately I don't think there's a way with the current mod managers.
If you do a find + replace command on the Ordinator and Apocalypse files you should be able to do them all at once instead of one at a time (should only take you about 30 seconds)
Hello, I know this is a lot of work but can I request a bat file for the dragonborn gallery/legacy of the dragonborn? It's been a day already and I still can't find all the item codes. I was hoping you know of a better way to find them as you were able to make all these bat files.
Ok, right, so this is likely a VERY stupid question, but I'm a bit confused, lol. Does this mod add all the tomes and spells from mods as well? I have a lot of spell mods from the nexus and the worhshop on steam, and if I a penny for all of the times I couldn't remember them all ((Or even a fraction)), I'd be rich. So, basically, I'm interested to see if this mod will add those as well? Again, more than likely a seriously stupid question, but I'm hoping to not have to make a bat file myself.
Hey sorry I haven't been online in a while, but which mods in particular were you thinking of? There are a ton and I'm not sure which ones you're looking for support for, but I'm open to making more batch files!
Forgotten Magic: Redone, Apocalypse: Magic for Skyrim, Midas Magic for skyrim, Witchcraft mod, and Lost Grimoire. I've also tried using the files that requires you to type in help.bat, but it just says that doesn't exist, no matter what I do. Am I putting it in the wrong folder? Thank you, and don't worry, I understand busy! =)
I'll get to work on those mods, I think they're popular enough that people would enjoy the option at least.
To use the help.bat file, once you've opened the console type in: bat "help.bat"
Make sure you use the quotes, it's very particular haha. Let me know if you still have trouble. The batch files should end up in your steamapps\common\Skyrim\ Data folder.
Download Link does not seem to be working correctly. Get a fatal error when trying to download through Mod Organizer, and the manual option downloads, but the file cannot be opened.
Error states a Bad Gateway, so could be an issue with Nexus itself
Hi there! I just installed this via NMM & went to configure the "enchanting_WM.txt" file, but it's not there (neither is "enchanting_DB.txt", even though I checked the appropriate "I have Dragonborn" boxes in the installer). I've downloaded the mod manually so I have the files, I just don't know where to put them. Also, I searched in my \Skyrim\Data\ folder & didn't find any ".bat" files, which I'm assuming isn't supposed to happen. In any case, where can I manually move stuff from the archive to the Data folder so everything works? :P
Hey thanks for the heads up, turns out I had a serious issue with the installer where it wasn't selecting sub-packages correctly due to a missing underscore. I tested this version and it should work as expected, the enchanting_DB.txt and enchanting_WM.txt should be in your Skyrim/Data folder after you uninstall the old one and install using this one.
You can edit the bat files with the console commands for the Ordinator perks. Or just add a text file in your Skyrim folder with the new commands in it.
Hi! I effin love this mod, so much. I have a milliom homes, including the vanilla ones, and i love having everything in them. All norm books, spell books, ingredients and enchanting equipment. This mod is perfect cuz I get just boom! Get them all and not have to hunt forever for ebery little thing. So BIG THANKS FOR HELPING MY WEIRD HORDING
Is anyone else having the problem where they try to use the "skills.bat" but it just says "batch file could not be found"
Its not in the description, but in the console when you type "help.bat"
Hey I'm glad you like it! At first I was like, "why isn't it working?" but when I looked in the help file I can see why, I actually removed the skills batch file a while ago but forgot to update the help file with it, oops!
The reason I had to remove the skills batch file was that it was designed to max all of your skills in one command; very convenient but it turns out that each time you level up it calls a bunch of scripts and events in the game. By effectively maxing your level, it forces you to take all of your level-ups at once, and taking more than one or two at a time can completely fry the game (as I did to myself a handful of times before removing it... oops).
What I've taken to doing is leveling up specific skills like so:
player.advskill speechcraft 1000
you can swap out speechcraft for the skill in question, (they're all named the same as the skill except for speech being speechcraft and archery is named marksman), and the experience amounts per level vary a bit between skills.
Sorry for the disappointment, I'll make sure to pull out the skill.bat note in the help file for my upcoming release.
All of the files are working for me except for the batch file for wintermyst. Even though I configured the batch file to suit where wintermyst is in my load order, The items still do not appear in my inventory when I use bat "enchanting.bat". Is this just a problem with my game or is it something else? (I am sure that I saved the edited batch file)
Hmm that's odd. Try running "enchanting WM.bat" from the console and see what happens. The enchanting.bat file is supposed to activate the enchanting WM file, but I wonder if it's a problem with the file itself I haven't detected?
Hey I just wanted to follow up with you and let you know that I ran a couple of tests with the Wintermyst file and found that it was working for me. I'm not sure if you're still having trouble, but if so, feel free to send me a screenshot of your console after running: bat "enchanting.bat" through the console and I'm happy to help resolve any issues you're having.
i've had the same problem, i have no idea how to send you a screenshot at the moment because i'm fairly tired but the console gives me the "compiled script not saved!" error after i run "enchanting WM.bat"
If you're getting the "compiled script not saved!" error, make sure that you've edited the underscores out of the wintermyst batch file and replaced them with load order prefix from your wintermyst esp. So if Wintermyst has load order 0B in your load order, you want to replace all the __ marks in the batch file with 0B.
Then you shouldn't get the error when you try to run that one. Note that if you run the enchanting batch file on its own, it should also call the Wintermyst batch file for you automatically.
Most of the issues being reported seem to be due to my unclear instructions, I'm going to change the batch files over to txts for the next release (except for the Wrye Bash version where I can't) and I'll post an updated guide to using them with screenshots.
I'm having an issue with this mod. I use Mod Organizer and when attempting to use these bat files (let's say it's the spells.bat file) by typing bat spells.bat I keep getting a syntax error, I also have a copy in the regular Skyrim folder, thinking that it would fix it, but it does not. Granted I could change these to .txt files as that works, but that is a pain and I don't want to do it if I don't have to.

Thanks so much for letting me know!

So confused, and a wittle frustrated.

Does that work?
