This mod is for people who think the spine ends at the bottom of your back, at the top of your underpants line!! Lol The spine ends at your tailbone, right at the top of your butt crack, (hence the term TAILbone) so you've "fixed" it way too high. Let your sweetie know!

Racemenu and xp32 ext skeleton have a whole section of sliders that lets you move the tail to any position and resize it .

      How nice if them,
but neither do i use xp32 nor racemenu, so there is no 'fancy' way for puritans like me to set the position other than editing the nif file.

It doesn't let you tilt the tail, so fixing the tail position causes the start of the tail to stick out at an odd angle.

Is there going to be a CBBE version of this?

May I ask what it is that you did exactly to make this change?  I have been tinkering with tails myself, and I would like to change the positions myself, particularly on the argonian tails.  I have been using Blender and Nifskope to play with the nif, but any change I make to the location of the tail isn't reflected in-game.  I'm quite well-versed in Blender, and reasonably proficient with Nifskope, but I can't for the life of me see what I'm missing.  I don't need a step-by-step tutorial; just a vague pointing in the right direction will do.  I just need to know what I'm supposed to edit, and I can figure it out from there.  If anyone has any advice, I would really appreciate it.  Thanks.

    Nevermind.  I figured it out.

you done broke the tail more. Step one, find your tailbone, step two, that is the correct area

Ohhh, yay! I've finally moved on to Khajiits (hopefully) in my texture overhaul, and this bothers me so much. Endorsed! (as soon as Nexus allows it)

Fantastic, this has always bugged me! Would you be willing to give the male Khajiit tail the same treatment? It's got a gap where the top edge should connect with the body, not to mention looking like it sticks out at an odd angle, as you mention. Either way, thanks!

Hey, it seems to be a more realistic position indeed ! I'll test it on a CBBE female khajiit, see if it works. =)
