Shortly after opening the revolving door in ODELIA, the Thelmore appear and I collapse, then the game gashes back to desktop. Anyone help? Using the latest version.
Pretty good and well-voiced mod. The plot is a bit a nonsense, you are requested to find a heartly desired family ancestor's blade that in the end is presented to you - why, then ? The only real defect I could find are the 5 quest items that remain in your inventory, once finished, and must be removed one by one by yourself.
ok so here my small thought as a morrowlooted Skyrim user:
- Well designed, not the best level design but not the worst. - Voiced NPC !! Congratz !! - The guy take time to reforge the blade !! that's lore friendly !! - Bug Free for me ! GG !!
BUT:
- The Sword is totaly unbalanced, as your dungeons are clearly not endgame : If i remember it's kind of Dragon Priest killer so no need to make all undead flee, it's boring and remove fun.. make it more magicka damage or absorb magicka! After all, dragon priest are magic users and if the sword must have a story, make it magic user killer. What's best than a mana killer sword for the job?
As a magic steel sword, you should make it Skyforge stats. Or Ebony sword if your lore make it a real powerfull familly blade. (even change the nif?) but don't make it overpowwered with a normal steeel sword design
- The stones at Riften were a good idea but cm'on! on every 10m seriously? reading the quest log i was like : "nicely done, that will be challenging!" i was expecting the dungeon to appear only at night and hard to find but even during day it's easy to find it.
- NPC speaking don't move their mouth !!!
Overall it's a nice quest mod totally underrated. It could have been a very good mod but it lack the attention to details that separate the good mods from the great mods: the user experience. For me it's only few details like these that gave me this feeling.
I just finished this quest, nice little mod that takes you to several places.
i have just a few things i would like to mention.
1). the blade trap (ceiling) in the dungeon is missing its texture, only the middle one appeares, you still get hit by the other 2 - http://imgur.com/a/JpNVY 2). certain quest items can't be dropped, so you're stuck with some pages, also a part of the broken blade stays in your inventory after the quest. 3). Any reason for the reward in the end to be a (spoiler) sword with turn undead? could have been a cooler enchant ^^.
I removed the mod again as i have some other mods that use the same area as your quest, non the less a nice mod .
Ok, so apparently I clicked the wrong file when creating the zip file and for that I apologize. I got confused about what the ESP file is and I didn't think to look at the actual zip file I created when you posted about the problem. I'm currently at work now, but I will fix this problem when I get home. Until then I'm removing this from public view until it is ready.
