I have the steam version of Skyrim; should the file be extracted into the Data folder of the steam game: ProgramFiles/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Data?
I've tried that and yet I don't see the save when I choose to Load a game upon starting. Forgive if the question is simple! I'd appreciate any suggestions.
I just went to Helgen with Theanna and it was...odd. Helgen is undestroyed, but the gates are closed - they require a ( not existing ) key. But you can enter by "cross hopping" over the terrain at a certain point where the citywalls lower down onto the surroundig rocks. It was a bit tricky but finally I could enter Helgen. Its quite spooky, all the characters you know from the beginning of the game, or better say from the playable parts, standing around without doing something. The horsethief who got shot, the four stormcloaks which enter Helgen with you plus Rogvir and the poor guy who got his head chopped of too. Strangely all Imperial soldiers, even the female captain who send you to the block, lying dead on the ground. The only buildings you can enter are the tower besides the block, the dungeon and the one house, where the the little boy was send in by his father while your wagon passes on his way to the block. Its inside is just cobblestone on all surfaces and a hoovering bed in the middle. I suppose, I can only leave Helgen on the classic route. Funny thing is, inside the castle you can hear Alduin screaming. Personally, I really enjoy playing Theanna. After ~950 hours its a relieve to play without dragons but with friendly bandits. I can recommend to play the version with bounty on your head, its a challenge. You can also enchant the bandage and keep it instead of a hood or a circlet - works well and keeps Theannas look. Thanks Mshai for this fine savegame! P.S: Sometimes I ask myself how awsome it would be to have a bandit-guild instead of, ohm, lets say the bard-guild.... .
