Was there ever a fix made for this? Genuinely wish I could use it.

I would also like to know if anyone got the updated version to work. The updated version completely doesn't function. The old version works perfectly fine though.

Hi ousnius, is it possible to tilt the whole screen with your mod, like in 7keys' screenshot?
If not, does anyone know a way to do so?

You can tilt the character, but not the screen/world. Maybe he simply took a high res screenshot and rotated it in image editing software? Or maybe there's a console command?

      Hi,

yep that's been a trend for quite a while - run the game in the highest resolution you can without crashing, leave enough space around the objects, then rotate the pic and crop it.

The Windows 10 image viewer can even do both simultaneously with just 1-2 clicks, although it's definitely recommended to do this manually in real image editors like GIMP to preserve the quality. These also have much better tools when cropping an image, e.g. to force a specific aspect ratio with a grid for "rule of thirds" or "golden sections".

The best way to use this mod is mainly to move / rotate / scale your character so (s)he fits better in a scene.
Sure you can also do fun things like walking on the ceiling, but most of the time it's a godsend that you can make your character "snap" to an object or just move him around after adjusting the camera to a perfect background shot.

Ah, okay. Well, I feel rather cheated when seeing pictures which are edited outside of Skyrim, so thanks for the clarification.

I certainly agree that doing real external image manipulation is taboo for screenshots, so anything like editing colors, retouching, or even adding/removing items from the scene. Good screenshots should be all about the ENB, the mods, and how the screenarcher makes the best use of them.

However if you rotate the pic, it's just a replacement for the lack of camera roll in Skyrim. It doesn't change anything else and only makes the scene look more dynamic, or optimizes the alignment of a character along the axes.
And of course cropping images should be mandatory, all you do is cutting off uninteresting parts from the edges and hopefully get a better image composition at the same time.

Some people just overdo the rotating, like using 30 or 45° in every single pic which can be very tedious for the viewer ;-)

There's no difference between ENB or color adjustments in Photoshop, I personally don't care about doing those. It's always the final result that counts, so using Photoshop isn't cheating, it's a trick to get better results faster.

It only gets too much when you add or modify the actual contents of the screenshot that weren't there before. And even then it's still its own type of art, just not a screenshot anymore.

Well then it's no longer screenarchery, just a contest who is the better photoshopper. I don't see a difference between tweaking colors/contrast, adding objects like "fake cum effects", retouching glitches, and ultimately pasting a drawing or render/photography into the image.

The big difference between pictures that are just rotated / cropped, and anything mentioned above, is that any player can install the same mods and the scene will look exactly the same on his screen.
      Anything else is just deception.

That tilt is actually done with a ENB mod called FreeFlyCam.
U can find it here: http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5386&sid=1d479e340825e0238869b63a998163f4

The FFC plugin didn't exist yet when we had the discussion above ;-)

Well yeah nowadays it's an absolute must-have in Skyrim and FO4, even when you just take random snapshots during gameplay. The pictures are so much more dynamic and easy to frame with a little tilt.

Hey! Loving the ability to control NPCs. Oh my god, no more people being all snotty saying "well use Jaxxon's". Pssh. Nothing against him, but you know.

Anyway, is the camera supped to freeze when you restrain the player? I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to figure out a more complicated workflow for more than two actors because obviously if the cam is frozen and I manage to tc some other actor, I have to control them either completely blind or on a weird axis.

I mean if this is how it is and has gotta be, that's that, I'm also wondering if I've done something wrong because it seems odd.

    Thanks for an awesome mod!

Hey there, I'm the one who added the ability to move NPCs and that "restrain" button. I just happened to look here in the comment section yesterday and saw your question had gone unanswered. To answer your question, yes, the restrain button is supposed to lock the camera in place. When I added that function, I thought it would be more useful than it ended up being.. :\
The best workflow is to position the player character last, after you've positioned all of the NPCs. I use PoserHotkeysPlus or something to put them in the right pose, and then I use ScreenshotPad to move them where I want them and give them the right position/angle, given the pose they're in.
You may have figured that out by now, but I wanted this question to have an answer here in case anyone else had the same issues you were having.

Oh hey, thanks Honestly probably most of my issue with it is a bit of dyslexia which is being exacerbated by fun medical issues, so learning a bunch of new controls and then playing around is not as easy as it used to be. So if something went wrong I'd forget the camera was frozen and then I'd forget the hotkey or confuse it with another and snowball effect, etc. Also my propensity for shooting in very confined spaces didn't help lol

But yeah I just re-read what I wrote and I really didn't intend for it to sound so snotty, I am sorry for that I have since played some more with it and am more comfortable with the workflow. I'm still not a huge fan of the frozen camera, to be honest, but ya know what, I can move other actors, and probably this mod could erase my novel off my hard drive and I wouldn't really care that much.

...Okay that was maybe an exaggeration, but your work is very much appreciated

No worries, I didn't really read what you wrote as being snotty at all!

Something I think I should clear up is that it shouldn't be necessary for you to use the "restrain" button unless you actually want the camera frozen in place (which I actually *did* want for a few long-exposure type shots I took using ENB). Whenever you release control of an NPC, the mod automatically restrains them and keeps them from walking around until you target them again and hit the "reset" button. And of course, your player character shouldn't ever move without your input, so you don't have to worry about them moving around.
So hopefully, you can avoid the frozen camera by not using the "restrain" button. But let me know if you encounter any frozen camera even when you haven't pressed that button - in that case, it's a bug.

I'm happy to hear that the additions to the mod are useful to you!

Yeah, I"m kind of struggling with the updated mod but will troubleshoot in a bit. I'm having the issue where it just won't function at all, even with the new Jcontainers and all. Going to rollback to a previous version for now and examine the new one later on a cleaner loadout. Not sure why the newer one isn't functioning the way it ought. I assume some conflict someplace.

Any chance of it coming to SE, or maybe it already works as is?

Just uploaded a new version 2.0 of this.

Update with new features added by doctorcube33.
    - Added support for controlling NPCs using the crosshair and an activate hotkey.
    - Added a hotkey to toggle the mod's input events.
    - Added a hotkey to restrain the player character.
    - Added a hotkey for changing the speed using the rotation modifier + the scale up/down keys.
    - Changed default hotkeys and added new ones (see MCM).
    - Now requires JContainers to be installed.
