About this mod

Tired of waiting 10-30 days in game for something to respawn? Tired of merchants not restocking at a reasonable pace? Tired of weapons flying off of corpses? Perhaps you're even tired of how often townsfolk talk to you? Well, take a look on inside my world... And recycle it faster!

Permissions and credits
Recycle your world faster!
What it does: Dungeons, Dragon Perches, everything, respawn up to 10x as fast; Weapons stay attached to corpses.

Respawn Times:
Lowered from the values of 10/30 days to 2/3 days. This allows for better game flow, easier hearthfire farming, vendor interactions, and reclearing areas.

Q: Why would you lower it so drastically?
A: Skyrim is well populated and undergoing lots of small revolutions alongside the larger war. When you clear out a fort and leave it unoccupied and a theoretical scout notices it, that scout is going to run for his life to report that to his commander/leader and a detachment is going to be deployed to that location immediately. Same thing with the wildlife as it is simply not where you are at that moment all the time, the bandits who have local leaders and "global" leaders, shunned wizards who will pick up where the newly deceased left off, etc.
This makes it only logical that all the places in Skyrim should be occupied at least most of the time.

(7/19/2021) As a clarification, faster cell resets clear everything. Planters from Hearthfire are linked to an NPC in a cell that you cannot access, so they will reset faster. NPC stock is linked to a chest in a cell, which also resets faster. The only thing that prevents these resets is visiting the cell within the timeframe of the reset, which in the default game is either 10 or 30 days - if the cell is loaded during that timeframe, the time for it to reset is set back to 10 or 30
days. There are some areas or mods that intentionally do not ever reset and some areas that always reset, such as player houses that do not ever reset as it would delete your stuff.

Weapons Stay on Corpses:
This is mostly to prevent save bloating as well as a few annoying quirks, like when a corpse falls off a cliff but the weapon doesn't. Now you can interact with the weapon just like you would with the corpse! No more knocking a boss off a cliff and losing the loot!

Q: How much can I expect this to save on my file?
A: Unpredictable. Honestly, it's mostly for the fact that it allows interaction with the weapon to loot the corpse that may have disappeared. In my thousands of hours in Skyrim, this has been of use to me so many times. The variable in question that does this is iDeathDropWeaponChance which agreed should be set to 0 and not the default 100 to prevent weapons not despawning when not looted directly (this is true for FO4, Oldrim, SSE). There's no downside to setting this to 0.

LOAD ORDER:
This can go pretty much anywhere provided you don't have any other mod that changes these variables (if they do they probably state it on the page really explicitly). No need to worry about any errors or conflicts with almost all mods. If using any of the Fort Takeover Framework based mods, the increased respawn rate can negatively impact or prevent these mods from working correctly. (7/18/2020)

Installation and Uninstallation:
Simply use your favorite mod installation program for ease of use. It should be safe to install and uninstall at any point in a playthrough, and the changes should take effect after the given period of time.
