WELL I am personally VERY glad you made this mod. I MEAN REALLY?? We go to WAR for Talos (and for all the divines in a way, but they bless us for just 8 hours to get their work done?? a BIT short-sighted of them yes? So great fix you did. AND I would vote for even LONGER periods (ok even shorter as well) so we as the ones having to do all the work can get something that helps besides a pat on the head from the Divines, umm wait they don't even give us that, SOO yes a BETTER bit of blessing is in order ... GOOD Job you did here, and I will check back to see if you make more versions, and can they be just the type that over-writes in place and not the remove n replace. ) and I will say that YOU are better than any one of the divines as YOU actually do something to help us in game, while the divines .. well don't they look nice?
Somehow, this is a fresh idea! Well done! You might want to: 1. Find a way to make it not apply upon fast travel (possibly) 2. Add options (I think 16 hours is a perfect compromise) 3. Maybe later incorporate hourly options into MCM? If you do try to do some of these things (yes, I know I sound like I'm bossing you around like I'm an asshole, sorry) then the best of luck to you.
Don't worry, you don't sound like an asshole at all. I'm always open to ideas. As to your specific suggestions: 1. I don't know if that's possible, but it's definitely something I can look at. It's most likely tied into the game time that passes while you fast travel, so if I can change THAT I might be able to change the fast travel wear. But if that's the case it might be all or nothing too. 2. I could pretty easily add other files with different durations for people with different thoughts on how long it should last. Maybe one with 12 or 16 hours then another with 3 days then one with a week or something. 3. I'm very new to modding at this point. Incorporating things into MCM is well over my head, but if someone wants to give it a go then they have my blessing.
But dude, that's 8 real hours, right ? This not affected by fats travels or am I just stupid ? I never calculated this but I think not, to be verified though. But to take the words of SamusKnight, the survival mods - which I use - take over the time, by sleeping notably, of the items like food or potions, for example Nordic Cooking, which give soups or pieces of meat with +% life regen over 8 minutes or something, like some hours in the game. Those are affected by FT, but I think blessings of the divine shrines are not. Somebody to confirm this ? Or maybe you, mod author, have checked this in the CK and you are right ?
It's 8 real hours, but it IS affected by time-passers like fast travel, sleeping, and waiting. I'm not sure exactly what the formula is though (honestly i haven't looked it up). Try hitting up a shrine in Riften and then fast travel to Markarth and you'll see.
Sounds useful. Personally I never used the blessings because they wore off too quickly. When you use mods which make sleep a mandatory thing the duration for shrine buffs makes little sense.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean here. Care to elaborate?

Thanks for the suggestions.
