Hey, so sorry I am late to the party. I found this and downloaded and ohmygosh this place is so adorable with the cute functional house, the barn and of course the horses!! I absolutely love the view. A big kudo for this gem.
The barn. THE BARN! So cute! Though I'm a little nervous about the forge being inside, with barn fires and all. The horses and their names are so cute.
This is like the honeymoon suite or little respite for the married couple to get away from the kids for a while. Perfect!
I've been looking for a house like this. The horses are great...even anatomically correct. The white one is a bit bright. I'll fire up gimp and tone it down, so no biggie. Nicely done. Endorsed.
This is really very lovely. The bright colors in the screenshots indoors threw me at first but thought I'd see for myself if my own textures would replace that and indeed they did. Added some screenshots as comparison since I use Amidianborn's Whiterun textures.
Great location. Love the named horses (although the white is a little bright). Love the Gazebo. And love how you have the crafting items storage blended into natural items instead of chests everywhere. Very nicely done.
The brightness in mine is largely due to the ENB I use, and I probably should have disabled the dll for vanilla lighting. I broke one of my own rules regarding extraneous mods everywhere when demonstrating a separate one - I'm glad you gave it a chance. Yes Penelope is a bit bright, but I rather like her that way. I may make a darker version eventually, however.
I like like it! Did you try setting the horses ownership to player? Maybe try naming them also. i use iNeed which let's you give treats to your horses, as long as you "own" them.
Yes, I've tried adding them to the player horse faction and setting ownership, but historically that hasn't worked. There's something that actually purchasing a horse does that simply adding them to a faction/ownership/etc doesn't do and from my research so far nobody's figured out what that is for some reason. I actually have several unreleased unique horse mods that I haven't posted just because their initial locations are very remote and it would be really mean of me to have to almost require Convenient Horses Herding for people to actually use them.
That said, the only way I've found to set ownership of horses is CHH for now. Once you mount an unowned horse, it's herded and will be yours as if you bought it. As for naming, I kind of left them as-is for users of CHH, but now that you mention it that's something I think I'd like to do.
Both of these mods have placed horses you just pick up that work with ineed, maybe some thing in the parameters....Domino and Lynch the warhorse. Hope this helps.
