Good mod. I could do without the player house and with an Inn. I can ignore the house, but no Inn just isn't the same. The mod is *slightly* compatible with Shors Stone Inn, but the mod itself is kinda bad and the Inn is half outside the walls... Better than nothing, I suppose.

I love the decor, the shop and the gates but I just can't deal with the free player home... do you think you could release a version without the house or at least make it not free?

I do apologize, but I don't wish to revisit this mod, but permission is given for modifications. If you have mods that could allow it, I suppose you could give the home away to a follower!

You shouldn't apologise for making something the way you wanted it! It's just a personal preference and I suppose if you ever want to expand on your mods for the community, its just a suggestion to add options. I really appreciate your reply and I love your creative thinking, thats actually a great idea - thanks!

I felt the same, your mods are great, but they give free player homes everywhere, wich makes my hardcore skyrim "heart-warm".

You should then try out my Karthwasten and Half Moon Mill mods! They come without homes. :D

I don't know to be honest, never used that mod, but generally these mods of mine edit a lot of area, so it might be incompatible. ^^; Very sorry.

Hey, it's okay! There's 40,000 mods on here for Skyrim. lol. But...no...none of the Mill Expansions in existence are compatible with Inns and Taverns. I just got through testing your mod and 14 other expansions for this mill from 4 different websites and absolutely none of them are compatible with Inns and Taverns. And now all my friends are telling me, "That's why we don't ever download expansions like that. They're incompatible with all the highest rated mods." .... SO despressing. But I still use your Dragon Bridge! That mod is sooooooo amazing!!!! You are awesome.

Nice Mod, had some dirty Edits but not a big deal to clean. Dropped some Screenshots and an Endorse for your great work. :)

Question. Will adopted children go outside and run around the town?

I hadn't extended the markers to go that far, no. permission given if anyone wants to dare it, though. XD

Looks interesting & I am always a fan of mods that provide a bit more realism by making the hamlets of Skyrim more liveable/defensible. Have downloaded it but not added it to my current playthrough yet because I was wondering if it conflicts with "Inns and Taverns" by Mena. I think from your images (but cannot tell for sure) that you placed a house where the Shor's Stone Inn now sits (if you have Mena's mod running). Not asking you to change anything or add a work-around -- tho that would be nice -- just wondering if the buildings overlap. The inn sits more or less directly over from the cooking fire that the town sits around in the evenings. Like I said, thanks for providing a mod that updates Shor's Stone -- I will certainly use it at some point!

It does seem to conflict, unfortunately; the town wall definitely cuts into the small inn that mod provides, and I do think my merchant's house sits where the inn would be.

Thanks ClefJ. Kinda figured. Still, next run-thru I'll drop the inns (or maybe see if they can be "modular" - choose some, leave others out) and add your mod. I've always had a soft spot for Shor's Stone -- probably relates to Sylgja, lol -- but the chance to live there sounds nice. Take care and please keep modding!

Is it safe to use this mod with inns and taverns as it adds a in outside the wall very close to the wall but it looks good.

On the one hand, ClefJ is a prolific and skilled mod author with good descriptions on the front page and good interactions in the comments. On the other hand, he doesn't seem to use TES5Edit.

I thought the stone fortifications were excessive compared to other small settlements, so I went back to Arthmoor's Shor's Stone.

This is my new Shor's Stone. The player home is a good fit for my character who lives in the Rift but doesn't like Riften very much. With the added merchant, now she won't have to go into that cesspit at all if she doesn't want to.

I discovered, by accidentally leaving both plugins active, that it's ALMOST, but not quite, compatible with Arthmoor's Shor's Stone. There are only 3 real conflicts, but they're pretty big ones. Oh well, I didn't really agree with Grelka's living there anyway. The inn would be nice but isn't as useful as the merchant.

Nice to know! XD; I was actually worried people would stop using this because of Arthmoor's very neat work. I was thinking of making a patch sometime, but I have such a terrible habit of not. Glad you're using it!
