I love this. Such a small change really alters the way I feel about the game when I load it up. I've used a few main menu replacers, but this one is certainly my favorite thus far. My only question is if there is some way to make a version that has the snow on the main menu, but keeps the fog for loading screens?
I NEVER wanted to change the Main Menu, all the images and everything were so... strange. This one i didn't think twice, it is so awesome! I even uploaded a video showing it with Main Menu by expired6978, to show both mods to some friends :p
Agreed! All the main menu replacers I've seen try to plaster the screen with some fancy screenshot or something, and while those screenshots are nice they seem really strange to have as the menu. But this one is so simple, so true to the original, that it's awesome
The main menu of a game is a very minor thing. Being reminded of Morrowind when I start playing puts me in a happier place because of that nostalgic feeling. (I also use Morrowind's theme as my start up music for Skyrim.) It has a subtle yet powerful effect on my game experience.
Well, i never really played morrowind, just went to Balmora and that was it. But i can sense the originality of it What most impressed me, was the falling snow in the menu and loading screens, my game is much better with it, thanks ^^
As others have said; I've never had the compulsion to use a main menu replacer in my numerous years of rebuilding Skyrim load orders. One look at this and I was sold. It's very well done. Using Kingthings Petrock font with just gives the game a little fantasy class that was missing from the Vanilla modern UI.

There may be a few more variants added in the future.
