Some people have been having problems with downloading in the past few weeks. I've had multiple people check the file, and there's nothing missing. Nexus just seems to be having issues with downloads lately. If you're having issues with blue hairs, or completely missing hairs, your download probably didn't complete properly, and you should try re-downloading and reinstalling the mod. If you installed manually and used any programs other than 7zip to extract the archive, the archive may not have extracted properly. Please use the 7zip program to extract .7z archives.

    For clarification:
Both esp are the same! So if you want hairs for both genders, just install them both and it doesn't matter which order, cause both esp are the same, no need to merge the esp!!!

And there is already a SSE version available, you can grab it right here.

    Cheers.

Good evening. I've been using KS Hairdos Lite (presently the NoNPCs version) for a long time, and recently decided I wanted more options and came looking for the full version (this mod). I'm not sure how to proceed with it though.
    a) If I keep both mods, will there be issues in the Racemenu?
    b) If I uninstall Lite for this full version, will the hair styles of my past characters stay the same? (I imagine the hair styles originally shared the same ID/names, but this mod has 4 years worth of updates ahead of the Lite version, so I'm a bit unsure of possible conflicts)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does the mod changes the NPCs original hairstyles? Or only the player can use them?

I observe that in this new version 1.7 the normal meshes and the hl share the same .tri
I have almost 200 followers with your beautiful hairstyles and an expansion where I have all my resources including hairstyles eyes resources various textures, if I want to use version 1.7 should I export each face of my followers?
    excuse my bad english please

the hair tri will not affect your followers, you do not have to export their faces again :)

You ever thought to implement the breast weighted hairs so people wont have problems with bodies larger then CBBE? Seems like it would solve a lot of clipping problems and create less hassle when not having to actually sculpt the hairs around.

    Just a thought.

Does anyone know what face texture/map/mesh mod the creator used for the male character in the screenshot "Like Lust"?
I really need to get my character to look like that

Is there any way to use some of the female hairs on a male character, or are the meshes specific to females?

    Great mod, btw!

There's this mod that makes them usable by male characters: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/98490

I wanted to try some for my Gandalf character, but didn't find any I liked. But the mod works!

After updating I am getting some strange racemenu error. And the hairs are no longer visible.

Any chance that the new hair "purity" could be raised a bit in front? I'm using UNP, and there's a bit of clipping at 0 weight, and very dramatic clipping at 1 weight. I imagine it's worse for CBBE.

    Thanks for the great mod!

Huh, I didn't realize sculpt worked on hairs, I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Edit: Sculpting doesn't seem to be working, the Inflate brush causes some vertices to move out but some to move in, making it look very jagged and odd, and the smooth brush did something similar. I reset it and tried to fix the smaller side first, by manually moving the vertices, and that was able to get the hair out of the chest without changing the overall shape, but that section of hair flickers now, I'm not sure why but that flickering seems to happen on any section of hair that I edit.
