Does the transformation spell require you to be one of the vanilla races? Because it doesn't seem to work for me. And I don't get a dialogue option for her to follow me, either.
(Seriously, playing as a giant fox would be cool.)
Edit: She did follow me. But as there is no dialogue, I get the feeling that a player wouldn't be able to get her to stop following you. (I have no issues with this, but it might get annoying for others.)
very cool mod, took me a minute to figure out what goes where since this is my first time playing around modding a game, but it's now my favorite game addon ever! ^.^
I've read that the creator of this mod mentioned that Tokali is supposed to be near a dragon shrine or ruin to the east of solitude, but when I search, I cant find it anywhere! If it's not too much of an inconvenience, could someone please tell me the name of the ruin? It would help me find the area a lot easier...
She should be just west of Dawnstar, near an old nordic burial site. Can't remember the exact coordinates. Just look for the patch of green in the snowy wastelend.
Well, I can't get the fox transformation spell to work for me, and Tokali wont follow me no matter what I do. Also, since I installed this none of my animal followers will tag along with me.
I was uncertain about this mod, as I am highly skeptical of all "full voiced mods". When done well, they are the best out there, like Arissa or Inigo. What helped me to decide to get this mod was that you have 3 videos, one of which shows the vocal quality. Smart! I will be downloading this soon and likely endorsing. ^_^ This should go nicely with Eevee, my fox companion.
Dunno. Same way foxes in the wild look like cats, I guess. xD I changed nothing about the original fox mesh, though I suppose the coat pattern makes them more cat-like
Strictly speaking, foxes are not exactly "canine" so much as belonging to the family canidae. They are more specifically classed as vulpine/vulpini. Here are some pictures of some vulpes, or "true foxes." https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cf/Genus_vulpes.jpg
Their look really is more in line with the Skyrim implemented foxes!
Because genetically, foxes are more closely related to cats then to dogs. It is logical anyways, but if you need, look at the way the tail behaves, the short muzzle's musculature, skeletal build, and the shape of it's face. I hope that this helps to answer your question.
Awesome mod, I love foxes and Tokali is a very unique follower and this entire mod is just great. I do have a slight problem with the transform spell however as it just seems to loop the animation for an alteration spell charge up and never does anything; probably just a mod conflict problem but I recommend just giving it a quick look over just in case. P.S. Tokali's singing... its awesome!
Thank you lagswitchEngage. I appreciate you taking the time to check out my mod, and I'm glad you liked it.As for the transform spell, a couple of people have been having issues with getting it to work. I'm not sure what mod is causing it, as I've tried it on all of my installations of Skyrim so far, and it's worked..but I'll keep experimenting to see if there might be something interfering with it somehow.
