I've figured out how to get the text editor to accept my enter and spaces as originally written - apparently one cannot simply copy and paste a description, even using Note Pad. It took me a bit to figure out, but, now I have the text back to how I typed it on my computer! You guys and gals weren't the only ones annoyed about that. I just moved over here from Steam Workshop, so it's a new "learning curve." Thanks for the Feedback and patience, all.
This mod isn't working for me, the duration is still just a few minutes. I don't really understand TES5Edit but I've opened the mod up in TES5 and it looks like the duration is being overwritten by EnhancedLightsandFX.esp I'm going to watch some tutorials and see if I can solve the conflict.
EDIT: Can confirm, this mod has conflict with ELFX. Conflict is easily solved by placing "Immersive Torch - Versatile Enhanced.exp" directly below "EnhancedLightsandFX.exp"
Whatever caused your description to be an enormous wall of text, if you could take a minute or two to throw in some paragraph breaks, it'd be greatly appreciated.
As someone with dyslexia it is physically painful to try and dredge through all of that for the actual description.
Thank You - I've been muddling over why it keeps removing my enter spaces from my original document text! I'll check into the text editor, it must be one of the tools at the top of the edit window. I'll look into that at my earliest convenience. I'm busy at the moment, but, I'll squeeze in some time to check into that.
Oh sure, you can edit the mod however you want for your own use! I was going for the concept of "infinite" burn so torches wouldn't have to be replaced all the time. When you play using needs for food, water, rest, and surviving cold and diseases; you don't really want anything else to worry about, you know! Because the game doesn't have an "infinite" setting I went with real-time 24hrs.
I don't mean to bad mouth your hard work but I quit using torches a long time ago...you see..I only use the bow for self defense and one cannot use a torch and a bow at the same time..so when you pullout your bow to shoot the bad guy.. the lights go out!!!...but for that I would love your mod..woodsmn

Is there anyway to reduce the burn time by editing the esp? 2,4, or 8 hours would be more reasonable imo.
I currently use Brighter torches with larger radius, but I like the lighting color of your mod.
