though it might be an incompatibility with one of the mods i use i get a ctd every time i get close enough to and look towards the cabinet in the crafting room with the grand soul gem texture on top
Yeah, but the modder seems to have already abandoned this mod and hasn't bothered to upload them. I tried to help him make his mod look better, but I guess that's what I get for trying to be nice.
I dunno. maybe they dont know how to accept and allow images? Or maybe they dont know how to speak English well? Or maybe they dont like getting help from people? Or the off chance they forget to look at comments? Just one of those things.
Gordon: Funny, if she can create a mod using the CK, then figuring out how to "allow images" shouldn't be a challenge. Secondly, take a look at her responses to me below. Understanding English is obviously not an issue. Thirdly, if you read the comments below I offered to help and she accepted. And finally, the new version just uploaded contains ideas I had in the screenshots I uploaded for her. Just sayin. . .
Why are you so hostile? I was defending the mod Author. I dont understand why people get so offended or malicious on this site. It baffles me. One thing goes wrong and everyone jumps on the hate wagon.
Sorry I have been really busy with life. I have not abandoned this mod. I liked your screenshots but have decided not to accept them since the mod does not look like them. I have updated with more stuff with the ideas you gave me. I would have replied sooner but I as I said I have been busy. I barely had time to work on and upload the update. I've run into some problems with my computer's graphics card so it is hard to test it. It keeps crashing on me, I don't know if there is some underlying problem that I cannot find. I am trying to fix it and I will continue to update. I might not reply quickly so please be patient. And Gordon, thank you for the support, I appreciate it.
It is fine, Crow. You dont have to live up to anyone's expectations but yours. Just keep safe in your life and whenever you have the time to spend on the mod then go for it. We will all support you. ´=
Just uploaded my screenshots of the changes I made "decorating" wise. Hope you like them. BTW, just adding lighting in some cases made a dramatic difference in how the rooms looked.
Based on the last two comments I am offering some help if you like. I'm really good at decorating in-game, and have helped other modders with decorating issues. I'd be glad to give you my take on additional decorating suggestions. What I could do is go in-game and decorate it then upload screenshots with some ideas if you'd like the help. Just let me know! Also just a suggestion, I think lighting would really help this look better as well. Just a thought.
Tell you what. . .before I go to spending the time, how about you go check on what I did in the Skyfall Estate Buildable edition. Here is the link:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66299/?
Click on the images tab then the "users tab" to see what I did for this house. The house was completely bare before I started just so you know. If you like what I did, then leave a response to this or send me a PM.
The idea is a great! And I'm a huge support of the Thieves Guild.~ But from the screen shots, it feels too empty... I'd suggest putting out more clutter, decorations, maybe some drapes and streamers, food plats, plenty of drinks out, crates, baskets, plenty of torches, fire places, cooking places, oh those nice little horn candle things, rugs, carpets, go all out!
For now I'm tracking this file, I hope to see this evolve into something more special!
(Also, not everyone need dragon bone weapons in my opinion, if you still want them to be at a strong level, then perhaps ebony? But verity is also nice!)

From the screenshots it does seem as though the place is a little too empty and what is there is to perfectly (or uniformly if you prefer) placed.
Give it a bit more clutter and make it look like the furniture wasn't arranged by a Dwemer robot and you might be onto something.
Tracked for now.
