   As I've looted some equipment during the course of my adventures it doesn't seem that I can upgrade any of it. Is this a glitch? Has anyone else encountered it?

      which one u mean? silver weapons are completely upgradble(with silver ingot i guess),and the last 3 waepons that u find with the king and his guardians are upgradble but with some black kinda orbs that you should find in some places in the mod,i cant realy remeber the places,should be 3 but i found only 2

      The esp only add the following tempering recipes:
      
      Torment (bow)
      Despair (sword)
      Agony (greatsword)
      Morning Star (mace)
      Rustic Axe
      Saber Oriental
      Saber
      Flamberge
      Common Axe
      Silver Dagger (I'm guessing it's the Elite Dagger)
      Silver Sword (Elite, probably)
      Silver Greatsword
      Enhanced Crossbow
