Beth Launcher and account on Bethesda.net only to get Creation Kit for Skyrim SE. Archives needs to be repack, plugins saved trough new Creation Kit. Bethesda.net is the only place hosting XBOX and PS4 mods and can be uploaded to only from SE Creation Kit and Steam account bound with Bethesda.net account.
I am not gonna touch it. Not even with a long stick. So no, I am sorry. No Skyrim SE, XBox or PS4 support from me.

    Hi Garrus,
I would be willing to port this over to Skyrim SE for you if you dont want to or feel like it. Its a cool looking shield and I am sure some people would appreciate it there. You would be given full credit of course as the original author. I know how to unpack the BSA files that are needed to be converted to SSE. I wont make any modifications to the shield at all. It will be just a simple port. Thanks.

      Thank you Fiskin,
I would be honored. I don't own SSE so I don't want to port blindly to system I can't test and provide support on. If you are willing to port it you have my ok and my thanks.

Ok thanks. After some tinkering I managed to get it to work.

Great thanks for that. I had another user point out that your new version is now standalone as versus a replacer like the original version. He uses a mod called AllGUD to make shields and weapons go on the back when they are not in use. He complained about the emblem not showing up when it was on his back. Do you think your new version will solve that? Also, would it be ok to port your new version as well in case other users use that same mod as him? Thanks.

Yeah, I 've had a conversation with him, trying to figure out whats wrong. Thats why I made the new version. I think it should work better with AllGUD and possibly other automated patchers. Key word: should. I don't know what exactly went wrong and I don't have SSE to test it.
If you have the time to port it again I would be glad.

Ok thanks much. I will convert the new version and upload it and have him test it out. I don't use AllGUD, so I have no way to test it myself either. Talk to you soon.

I really like the shield . looks awesome. I cant figure out how to make a DSR patch though as there is no mesh in the file. Anyone know how I can make one for it?
I did run DSR patcher after installing it but did not work. I figured it would as I suppose it uses a vanilla shield mesh.

    Update
I figured it out..........I moved esp above DSR in load order and re patched it. Works fine now.

Dude, you have nearly achieved perfection. You just need to add 2 more wolves, and the moon. I have been seeking 'The Legendary 3 Wolf and Moon Shield' for nearly a thousand years. I thought at last my search had ended. Keep trying, good luck to us both.

As had a LOT of people. No offence, but this picture and similars are circulating the internet for ages. The oldest I know was found by Amatthiast in anime Wolf's Rains from 2003. See the discusion bellow.

    To Amatthiast and Sumiko,

with the help of other modders and one moderator I have found the origin of the wolf silhouette. Beth Trissel's image (and lot of similar images on the internet) was made from this Microsoft Word Clipart image. It doesn't belong to Studio Bones and so there is no need for me to credit them.

They are very similar but for reference here is a clip from the opening of the show.
      http://s228.photobucket.com/user/Devilstar01/media/end.jpg.html

The clipart and screenshot are different only slightly and it could just be because of size reduction. Yet they are still so similar that if it is really a Microsoft Word Clip art it's hard to believe that there hasn't been a copyright issue on their part. It's not just a wolf howling on a rock. It's a wolf standing on the exact same rock with it's legs in the exact same position with the fur on the neck and tail ruffled in exactly the same manner.

Please don't feel like I'm trying to get after you for something. I understand that when it comes to the internet and art work the origins of images can easily get lost. The clip art could easily be where the shield image came from. But I do not believe that the clip art is the original work. It's impossible for the two images to be that close for one to not be a copy. And it's not likely the copy is Bones'.

      Microsoft Word 2007:
      http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Images/562144/?

Thank you Amatthiast, I have been looking for such image from the show for a long time. I have nothing against studio bones and I plan on picking up wolf's rain. It is definitely the same picture. I am baffled how could there be no copyright issue between Bones and Microsoft.

Wiki says that Wolf's rain run as anime on tv in 2003 and Word 2007 was published in 2006. Three years later. I don't know if the clip art is also in earlier Words, but it seems, that Bones were first and Microsoft took the scene and made it into clip art.

I will admit, I am having a bad sleep from this origin hunt. Thank you for bringing more light into it.

It is a mystery. To add to it, in the link image you sent me, the tan colored wolf with the collar two images up in the menu is also a character from the show named Hige. They didn't even try to mask it. Did some of the art staff for Microsoft get lazy and thought no one would notice if they threw in some random images from the internet? It is baffling. It makes you question if any of the clip art they have is actually theirs.

That Hige image in Word literally came from his character sheet from the show.
      http://s84.photobucket.com/user/clouisery/media/Wolfs%20Rain/242.jpg.html

This is starting to border on hilarity. I have no idea why I find this funny. Try not to lose too much sleep over it. For all we know there could have been some agreement to use the image (doubtful but possible)

It gets even funnier. The image bellow is from Killer Instinct Wiki. Directly taken, they didn't even fell the need to change the name.

I wonder what else is there? It might be fun to dig through those cliparts.

Thank you Amatthiast, you have been very helpful. I wish all moders had commentators like you are.

Well after 3 images I think we can safely say that few, if any, of the Word clip art images are actually theirs and free to use. I sadly do not have word yet on my computer to look through them. Maybe they can legally get away with it because they left the link to the image in the title or description? I don't know.

'n aww ^^; Thanks. The internet can be a hard place to not sound like an angry mob when things go wrong. Glad I somehow managed lol. And you are a gem for not getting offended. I can't tell you how many people get their feathers ruffled if you mention even the slightest thing off about something they worked hard to create. Even if you are trying to help them improve. Text cannot accurately convey the nuances of face to face communication.

Don't get me wrong, I love this shield. I love it because the silhouette is of Kiba from the popular anime series Wolf's Rain by studio Bones. Please at least credit them in your description rather than claim that this is your very own Wolf Sigil. Anyone can easily find this silhouette by doing a simple google search of "Kiba Howling." I understand that this show isn't mainstream enough for everyone to know where this is from but you should fix this problem and give them credit.

It actually is not. I have made the texture from this image created by Beth Trissel under creative commons licence. (can share and adapt, noncommercial).Which mean this is now my very own Wolf Sigil, because I adapted it and published it under the same licence. Wolf's rain has nothing to do with it. Most likely someone used the same or very similar image (please take a close look on fur and rock) when creating images you are referring to.
But I appreciate you concern. Many would not bother. And it look like a good anime, so thanks for pointing it to me.

Edit: Sorry for not directly responding. Reply system decided not to work for me suddenly for unknown reason.

*sigh* This made me cry. I can't believe someone would take an image, vector it and then put it under creative commons like that. If I traced a drawing of Simba and put it on creative commons it would probably get taken down or flagged or something.
      http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee105/Devilstar01/end.jpg

I guess this bothers me quite a bit because the show is dear to my heart and I hate to see it abused in such a manner. (Not your fault though. If it's on creative commons then there isn't much I or anyone else can do about it.) There is just enough difference in the image that it probably can't be flagged as copyrighted.

It is a great anime. It's not the most light hearted, though, and it is one that WILL make you cry. So be warned if you ever want to take it up.

I love wolf's rain. its an awsome show. Amatthiast (one of the previas commenters) is right. why are you saying it is your disine? you shood credit Studio Bones. I love the sheald. Its a shame I dont use shealds otherwise I wood downlode it.

I have never proclaimed the design as my own. (The image on the shield it self is mine by creative commons licence, because I alter it) Image which I used is, as I sayed earlier, made by somebody else, who I have credited. If you suggest that the image belongs to Studio Bones and because of it I should credit hem, then please show me screenshot of the show where this icon of howling wolf appeared as proof and I will add credit. Thank you.
