Please let me know if there are any glaring bugs and I'll do my best to fix them. I've tested this mod, but I'm sure I didn't think of all possible conditions.

PLEASE do NOT port this to SSE or post it on any other site without my express permission.

    Hello

You have created the mod I wanted. Thank you very much!
I have modified your MOD so that Hulda answers in Japanese audio. Can I upload files to the Skyrim MOD site in Japan?

Absolutely, go ahead! If you send me a link I'll post it in the description.

I'm glad you like the mod

    Really nice little mod.
For anyone getting "uninvited guests", try setting the ownership of the two chairs to the player. Those chairs are likely what's attracting NPCs up into the loft.

Thanks for the kind words and for the info on the chairs!

Nice work. No bugs so far, per se. I am running Oldrim with all DLCs and chose the Key option, making a point of RP renting a room each time I stay. True the uninvited visitors that show up in the room grate at times (is there a "You Shouldn't Be In Here" mod to send them packing?), but I figure that is the price of only renting a room at an Inn and not owning a house yet. This room and safe storage is fantastic and now is a somewhat essential rest stop for this playthrough. Thank you. If only this mod and the other Bannered Mare loft expansion would play well together so my followers can sleep in beds too. I put yours later on the load order but some cabinets and door handle artifacts of the other mod remained to be disabled manually. Not a serious problem in the end. :-)

      Thanks :)

I wasn't aware there *was* another Bannered Mare mod, which one are you using? Real Life keeps me from doing much modding these days, but if it's not too onerous I might try to make a patch.

Absolutely perfect. I've been wanting such a mod since forever, wish I had seen it when you first uploaded it.

Oh but just found out it needs Hearthfire. I never intend to get hearthfire...

I'm a sucker for player homes and the more lavishly decorated and cluttered, the better! But I must say that I really like the simplicity of this mod -- it's perfect for a quick starter home. Thanks for sharing!

You can just bring wood to Hulda. Your stuff doesn't actually disappear, I just change the ownership of the containers. If you're a thief character, you could just steal it back....It all depends on how you want to role-play it.

At some point, I might implement a feature where Hulda sends thugs after you if you steal your stuff back. In theory, there's a chance the vanilla game might do this anyway, it's one of the "random world event" quests that can get kicked off when you steal any item. If I do end up implementing that idea, Hulda will hire better thugs than the vanilla game if you steal your stuff back

Compatible with ETaC w/ inns? I kinda want to go back to w/o inns as it doesn't really add anything interesting in my tastes.

ETAC with inns doesn't touch the inns in the major cities, so yes.

This is a really good idea!

Especially for those not wanting to do the main quests straight away (yes i'm looking at you breezehome), or better yet for those using mods that give you a different back story (sorry can't remember the exact name ... alternate start live another life?)

I personally love this as it's small, convenient, and doesn't require quest progress to make it available ... nice work <3
