    I'm looking for just underwater combat . I'm sure a lot of people would go for that. Behaviors is probably the only method. Does anyone know an INI setting to speed up Swimming? There is one for breathing underwater...fActorSwimBreath... something something.
    This mod sounds great but will also not play with other mods in my modlist. If I had any idea of the magic of modding I would try to separate this one (only privately, of coarse) for just the combat in water. Canceling attacks sounds cool too. I do hope "Behavior Modding" becomes the next craze. Where is the Behavior Modding University anyways??

      Late reply, but this mod does NOT open up underwater combat. That's a different mod called Character Behaviors Enhanced. People commonly mistake the two mods for each other due to the similar name, and them functioning in similar ways (by altering behavior files). They are not the same mod, and this mod here just lets you and npcs to cancel your attacks to block, that's it. This has been a part of my core load order for years, and I can assure you it does NOT open up underwater combat.

    Love this mod for the cancelling of attacks. Having problems when I try to install another mod (spear mechanic) that requires fnis. Seems when I install that, cancelling of attacks is gone. The spears work, but when I overwrite on reinstalling CBI, cancelling attacks works but the spear animations don't. Can anyone help? I'd like to use the spears and have the cancel attacks by blocking feature. I've a feeling maybe I could manually alter one of the behavior files after running fnis and not remove the spear attacks but I'd have no clue how/what lines to copy.
    Edit: missed the patch.

      FNIS generates its own behavior that overrides this. And because Fore has retired, patches will no longer be made. What you want to use is Nemesis. It does everything FNIS does except creatures, and works with non-FNIS compatible mods like The Ultimate Dodge Mod.

      This mod works for me as long as I load it after FNIS in Mod Organizer.

      As for nemesis, that's only a good idea if you don't need creature animations. Sadly, this includes werewolves, so if use say, Moonlight Tales Essentials, you need FNIS. I just can't get Nemesis to generate behavior files for it.

      As for animated spears, is this coming from Animated Armoury? That mod has a setting to use DAR instead of FNIS for the animations. This allows you to use the animations without generating a file with fnis. I've been doing this a while myself, and it works fine alongside this mod.

    The only issue I have with this mod, is that I'm able to attack with zero stamina.

    Is there a way to entirely turn off the cancel attacks feature? I despise it.

    I'm using this for duel wielding and I'm wondering can I block with duel weapons and if I can what is the button for it?

    my experience so far, when blocking after initiating attack, the animation does change into blocking. but the attack still swinging & hits the opponent. so I can just keep on attacking & my opponent can never attack me without me successfully blocking, which is a fail in my book. this mod fail to do what it promised.
