I welcome constructive criticism and compliments! If you liked Nerevar, please tell me what things I did really well. If you did not like Nerevar, please tell me what things could have been better. “This is terrible!” is not helpful or constructive. If you thought Nerevar was terrible, please give a reason why. I will not tolerate trolling or hating on my mod. If you have nothing helpful to say, please do not say it.
If you wish to report a bug, please give as many details as possible, including other mods which may have caused the conflict (if possible). I have worked very hard on Nerevar for over a year, but it is quite possible he is not perfect yet!
Update 1.1 is live! The main fix is I packaged the facegen textures, which I forgot to include in version 1.0. The two methods for updating are: 1) download the new main version of mod, and simply overwrite the old esp and bsa. This shouldn't cause any save game issues. 2) download the smaller update files for those who don't want to download the entire mod again. These files include the updated esp and the loose files for the face textures.
I would recommend the full version 1.1 download for stability and cleanliness. Let me know if there are any issues.
His facial tatoos and scruff/dirt should correctly appear. I am not sure if this will actually fix his facial scars. Still working on that one.
This thing really needs the voice acting tag. Some time ago I went searching for follower mods that had 'voice acting', but this completely flew under my radar because it didn't turn up in the search results. I only now found out about due to someone making a Portuguese translation for it. This would get far more downloads if people could find it more easily.
Just a quick message to thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed this companion. He's going everywhere with me now. And I listen to his advice when I going on adventures. I loved listening to his story and how he ventured far and wide during the events of Morrowind. Really nice work and voice acting. And you're so d*mn right, the dunmers don't speak like dunmers in Skyrim !
I've downloaded the SE version and said thank you to TyranusMaximus but I wanted to come here and say thank you to you too for making the mod in the first place. It's wonderful. My first TES game was Morrowind too and like you I was captivated. I've found it very poignant having Nerevar in Skyrim though in my Morrowind 'he' was a 'she'! Thank you for all of the wonderful voice acting, the lines that often are amusing and for creating what so far feels like a very compassionate person - my Nerevarine had that compassion too so I relate very easily to it. I have tried other follower mods but have quickly become irritated by them but there's something 'quiet' and unassuming about Nerevar. My Morrowind heroine was always a reluctant one - she just wanted a quiet life - and your Nerevar has something of that. He is an amazing character - thank you for him.
I currently do not have plans to port this mod to SSE. I have been busy engaged with other projects. If you know of any tutorials on how to port a mod, feel free to send them my way on a personal message, and I will take a look! If more users are interested in porting Nerevar Returns, I will consider porting him!
Thanks so much for taking the time to make this. I know it probably isn't easy to find the time, but for, say, stuff like moving to SE - I for one would greatly appreciate it.
I would love to see a port of this character! I was deeply disappointed when I saw he wasn't on SSE. I do understand you may have trouble finding the time but I would greatly appreciate if, when you find spare time, you could port it over. Love this mod! If you give me permission, I could attempt to port it. If i get your permission I will give full credit to you and make it known my only involvement with the mod is porting it.
I ask Bethesda to make a special version of the 64-bit game, in which Nerevar will be included, or someone skilled, to invite in Skyrim this Morrowind ambassador. Azura bless you !
Awesome follower, great dialogue, I love all the Morrowind references(took me on a nostalgia train), his voice was great he sounded like a real Dark Elf, very helpful in combat.
He's very unique. A permanent spot in my load order. Can't recommend him enough. There's a real lack of well made believable male followers in Skyrim, I definitely think Nerevar takes a spot on that elite list.
Okay. I am actually pissed now. The character I would want to use this mod for is predicated on killing Titus Mede and taking over the Empire post game. Is there any way to remove files from the mod to allow him to follow after killing the Emperor? There is only one character this would fit the roleplay of, due to her ties to the events of TES3. I have only that as a complaint. The mod is extremely well made. That is my only problem.
Why would you do that?!!! This looks like a great follower mod and just what I needed but I can't use it because I have killed the emperor! I have two playthroughs level 80 and 70 and I am continuing them and have no intention of starting a new game. Why did you have to ruin just a wonderful mod for me to fit some roleplay? What use is adding immersion for me if I can't play the the thing! Please I know it's been 4 years but consider removing the emperor and vampire thing Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease
The Nerevarine I know would'nt give a scrib about an Emperor getting assassinated never-mind a weak pretender booo, otherwise enjoyed the companion and liked the nods to past morrowind mods

Thank you, for letting us adventure with him!
