    Is this a Joke?
I have like 30 keys and still not working... Not equipped spell nor weapons!

This is a really good idea and I like the implementation but now we need a key/door overhaul to make all the doors have keys ¯\_(?)_/¯

Really cool idea. I use it and enjoy the mod, but here is some feedback.

First, as others have requested, please make it spawn the "Lock" option only if I already have the key, if that's possible. The menu appears... constantly.

The mod provides a lock option for every sack, box, barrel, and any other container that I can open. It's really weird. Perhaps there can be an in-game item, like a "key ring" that has 0 weight, that can be added to the player's inventory. If you have it then it tries to lock everything (for compatibility with mod added containers). If you do not have it then it only tries to lock doors. Is that a thing that makes sense? I dunno, just throwing it out there.

That said though thanks for the mod. It's a fun idea to lock doors behind me or to lock a summoned critter in the next room with all of the other critters.

I second this motion, but unfortunately the author has not updated this in a while.

      There is a "fix"

The "Lock" option does not appear if you have a weapon equipped (doesn't need to be drawn, just equipped).

It's not exactly what you are looking for, but it has helped me not get annoyed by the constant Lock menu appearing.

The author said you just need to unequip any right hand weapons/spells

Would like to know this too. Im guessing that if this works only when you unequip a weapon in the right hand then activate they could work together. Only that dont try that sequence of actions if you want the Simply Knock message box to show up perhaps.

Would it be possible to move this to a power? I usually go without a weapon equipped when walking around towns, which results in the lock menu popping up a lot. I already have a fairly large number of "minor action" powers, this seems like it'd fit in nicely.

I think there is already a mod in a form of a Lock spell. Search here on nexus

Edit: Never mind - the weapon doesn't need to be drawn for you to be able to open doors without the menu popping up. Equipping a simple, small dagger is enough for the menu not to show up every time you open a door.

Awesome - great mod, loving it - especially since it works for modded houses too

I love how immersive this mod is, but I have the same issue. My character is a commoner and doesn't run around everywhere with a weapon. This means that the menu pops up every single time I open something.

I don't know how feasible this is, or if it's easy to do, but would it be able to make the mod only show the menu if you have the right key...?

I tried that, unfortunately npc's literally just open back up the door, even if I set the lock to strength 1,000,000,000...

It depends on the AI package. Some NPCs are able to unlock the doors, some can't

this is a nice simple mod
personally think this is much more immersive to compare to the other lock door with spell mod
but such a shame there have no cancel choice
once active the door, need to either choose lock or open

    anyway, nice job flexcreator
