Just finished this quest/dungeon mod & have a bug to report. Upon entry into Arkngdams, my screen was enveloped in flames & my Load option under the System menu was disabled. Saving & quitting to the desktop, then reloading the game fixed the issue but it should not have occurred in the first place. Please investigate & fix, if able.

SPOILER ALERT: Also, I have a suggestion to make. The reward given at the end needs to be made more unique. Just a simple dagger with the follower's name on it is a bit lackluster given the fact of having to hunt down a few rogues across Skyrim. You should make the dagger unique in appearance & give it a couple robust enchantments. There are LOTS of free modder's resources here on Nexus that would make the dagger look much more pleasing to the eye. Other than that, I had fun hunting those rogues down with the follower provided by this mod. Endorsed for effort. Peace.

I've downloaded this for use in my next playthrough of Skyrim but where on the map does this follower/dungeon appear? An image of the follower's/dungeon's location on the world map would be nice so I can make sure I have nothing installed currently that conflicts with this mod. Thanks.

Good idea! I've added an image showing where things appear on the map.

It should be possible to start the quest from any of these places. One suggestion would be to install the mod, then completely forget about it until you discover it again!

Thanks for the image. I believe this mod will conflict with Spectraverse - Magic of the Magna-Ge (www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53780) since it places a cave where I believe your cave is. No matter. I'll try your mod out since I've done Spectraverse in the past & haven't tried yours out yet. Peace.

That looks like an interesting mod! I've installed it, and there aren't any immediately obvious conflicts. My cave still appears when the plugin is loaded before the Spectraverse one.

My limited understanding of TES5Edit suggests they aren't trampling on each other. There are lots of things in green, anyway.

Sweet! Thanks for the info & I'm glad the two mods don't conflict. I usually load my quest mods towards the top of my load order & magic mods towards the middle of my load order for best compatibility. Peace.

I don´t get it: Looks like a decent story so far until I got into the stormcloaks camp, when pandemonium broke loose. My char did not move his blade and still he instantly had lots of bounty on his head because everybody around him was fighting. Can´t imagine this to be intended.

That's a bug! Definitely not supposed to happen.

Did the Stormcloaks attack Sharrow and not you? If you have a rough idea of where you are in the civil war quest, that would be really useful to know.

I'll look into fixing it tonight. Thanks for the into!

I am not yet into the Stormcloaks quest at all, my char has not yet sided with anyone.
I can´t really tell if the guards attacked Sharrow, because things happened behind the back of my char. Fortunately I made a "hard" save before going there, so I can repeat the part in about 12 hours time (evening in Germany!) and tell you more.

Looks like it may not even be my bug. Aaaaah!

I have an idea for a fix (basically a whole new location entirely under my control) but it might be a few days out. Meanwhile, try getting Sharrow to wait out of sight of the camp to see if that helps.

(Skyrim is interesting to work with. So many overlapping systems! ...)

Thanks again for the information. I'll add it to the known bugs list.

Now, this bug sounds interesting. I mean, it´s quite normal Stormclaoks are not too friendly, but outright hostile? Not really.
I just tried the stormcloak camp again, leaving Sharrow at the nearby mill. Now things worked flawlessly. Thanks!
BTW: Sharrow is a real beauty. Well done!

ok I am confussed where is this camp exactly? and is the bug/glitched fixed or eliminated? and where is the mill you left her at? the only mill I know about in Falkreath hold is on the lake and there is no "camp" anywhere around there in any of my play-thrusthanks for any help or info as I do want a lot to try this thanks

The "mill" I meant is Sarethi farm. Sorry for being imprecise with the name! It has got a windmill. though. In the Stormcloak Rift camp you will find mister Thrice Slain.
As I wrote before, I left Sharrow at the farm and sneaked into the camp to confront Thrice Slain which was quite well. Sooner or later he turned hostile, though.

wow I just spent almost 2 hours of re-downloading all the apachi hair mods THEN using LOOT to finally get them right THEN cleaning and prep-ing with SMCO and another "scrubber" to be sure no orphans were floating etc....... because this ONE that you used is NOT in the ones I had already installed so I had to remove 2 mods to make this one NOT CTD at start-upok I think it best if you would make these standalone IF you make any more mods, just sayin' they are yours to make as you please but many of us while we value and appreciate the work many are tired of having to DL a few to many OTHER mods to make the one we want to try work and not destroy what we have already...... which means with my absolutely smoothly running 255 mod game I now have 2 "untested" to deal with and having given up 2 others just so your mod and that extra hair mod so yours would not CTD . so now this

now I read that the mod has a trap that forces a bounty even if you have done nothing???THAT absolutely should of been disclosed in the desc..... intended or not it should of been mentioned (in a "spoiler" if nothing else.
I was going to run your mod BUT will uninstall it for now until you can assure that the bounty thingy is fixed ... or if intentional this mod just lost me.

I rarely get a bounty of anything, even killing hundreds of thalmor groups I have only ever had 40 seps all you need to is admit you like Talos and wait for them to strike FIRST and then kill every last one. that gives 0 bounty so will track again

ok so not sure what to make of this "she" is the follower yes? and it is maybe a revenge/justice theme? would it be so bad as to make these things clear? I am very interested as I have "Arissa" and absolutely is a must have on every play thru for me and she is so hot as well (well her 1.3 is anyway) ...... so another woman wanting to set things right in her life I am all for..... the mystery can be how she does it .... but that this is what it is about should not be... I mean if she doesn't know what or why she is doing what she is doing why help her? just sayin' so more info is a good thing for me but it IS YOUR mod.... just sayin'will track for now, strike if it seems right hey a shot is a shot right? boar tooth bros..... be at peaceand thanks for your work even if I don't add it to my game but if that is a pic of her she does look good just sayin' ....

ok edit time so I have to kill another mod to use yours ..... so give me somethin' to work with ift you follow me ("ift" IS an actual word BTW) ift you all been in the south for any length of time yous know this already ... jus sayin'

In terms of a fully-voiced follower with loads of fancy scripting for a general-purpose character, Arissa wins by many, many miles.

This mod is more about having a complex story slowly revealed through multiple character journals, culminating in a mid-sized dungeon to explore. You also get a free (and very basic) follower with it.

      Enjoy!

ok ok I get it ... and will install after a clean n tuck, what can I say,the chicks just love to tag along and I understand them of course. that said most hunters KNOW the female of most all species is always the far more dangerous of the 2 (as in "reacting" to danger or threats) "hunters/warriors" are best if male. for stalkers/assassins then females usually are better.

that aside will you add some perks in the future? the one short fall in my not so humble opinion is far to few followers have any perks have them a surprise is ok (to be revealed as they level in the right area.... but ...

might be a good mod idea where you could train perks to followers if they have leveled up to the right spot? have no idea if that is even do-able but a good idea.

thanks and will let you know how it goes and thanks again for this mod and the reply

    Omfg, nice job !
Thank you so much for your time dedicated to our great community of Skyrim's gamers and modders. Thanks to you, the game is even richer.

    I have only two questions.
    - I don't have Apachii Skyhair, is it very compromising if I play without ?
    - Morgen is very awesome. Because thank of you, I discovered a new follower, and finally it's not a 15yo girl ! Have we need dl her or it's not requiered ?

Thank you for this two questions, oh ! and let me introduce myself : Then, I'm ScoobiVendetta, or Isis in the forum "La Confrérie des Traducteurs" (The Brotherhood of Translators).
    I'm a tester since 2012, and translator's apprentice since 6/8 month.
Mybe I'll send you a message for know if it's possible to translate your mod !

    Have a nice day !
And thanks for your regard to my message.

    Scoob', Isis.

      Thanks!

The only actually-required other mod is the Apachii SkyHair one. Without that, the game will crash on startup since it's an .ESM being requested.

I need to ask permission about including the relevant bits and pieces in this mod to make it fully standalone. It's only for one particular hairstyle. Having the Apachii mod installed shouldn't affect the general game in any particular way, beyond giving the character editor and modders a bit more stuff to work with.

Translations: very welcome, but be aware there's a bunch of (pretty complex) text in journals that would need translating, along with some dialog. This two megabyte mod packs quite a punch story-wise.

      Have fun!

It's basically complete, beyond fixing any bugs I don't know about. (Choosing such a low version number was a bit of a mistake.)

Nobody has reported anything fundamentally broken, so I think you're safe to download now.

      Thanks!
