Would it be possible to modify this so that it replaces sprinting with a "if alt-key is pressed then change speedmult to 150" or something, so that we can sprint+jump...
true, but for me it serves its purpose. initially i did not know that with up and down arrow keys i could adjust walk speed. then i tweaked .ini settings and it works like a charm
In reply to ApexPredatorI; I am experiencing the exact same thing, it's rather strange to see a person run about so quickly then pause for a moment then return to full speed only to have that speed reduced immediately afterwards and then almost pick up the same speed again.
and in reply to brump; this mod certainly doesn't seem to show the realism it's striving for, and honestly I can't even play the game properly with this mod active the way it is now, I've tried slowing it down however it is that mod allows you to slow it but I guess I failed to achieve that... Ahh well, looks great in theory but it doesn't seem to actually work the way it was set out to.
I am experiencing a strange effect. After sprinting when i come to a full stop and if I start then running my character goes instantly superfast with no momentum at all.
I am trying to tweak it to have a natural flow from walking to running. If I can get it right this mod may be the answer to the sprint/jump issue (that is people in skyrim can either sprint or jump but can not combine those movements, not even the Dragonborn ).
If somebody can figure out how to get this mod to use the scrollwheel, (And then figure out how to change the camera from the scroll wheel to other buttons) this mod would be perfect. I tried using programs that change what the scroll wheel does to a virtual key press, but it dosen't seem to detect it in skyrim.
I spent a few hours on this, can't figure it out. It's probably something as simple as coding in the scroll wheel as an input device, but it's over my head. If somebody could figure out how to do it this mod would be one of the best mods for skyrim IMO.
